Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful about advising us on various traveling options as we explored bangkok and around. The room was large with a lovely balcony, a nice storage place, fridge, and very clean. The roof was great for watching the sunset over the city, the breakfast good (and varied), and the vibe was very laid back. Its within walking distance to Khao San road, though away from the tourist hell. Very convenient for access to the river and some of the monuments, and a cheap taxi ride to the city's public transportation.

Liked: The staff was really nice, polite and very helpful.The breakfast was very delicious - something for everybody.We found that the guest house is situated perfectly to explore the old part of the city but you are far away enough from the noise of the Khaosan Road.

Liked: The staff were exceptional - friendly and very helpful. The breakfast provided was lovely both days we were there, with a varied menu (eggs, cereal, local Thai dish which was different each day), fruits). The rooms are basic but very good value for money. Location is also good - not too near the madness of Khao San but within short walking distance.

Liked: The place was lovely, very charming, good value unfortunately there was an issue with the amount due in the beginning but that was sorted out. The only bad thing I can say is don't use the hotel's bus service to Cambodia. One of the worst trips I've ever taken. What was supposed to be an eight hour journey turned out to be 13 hours with very disorganised and rude operators. Apart from that it was great.

Liked: The breakfast was really worth it. Rooms are basic but clean and very sufficient. It's close to Koh San Road but a distance from MBK, Pratunam etc... but easy to get there by Tuk-tuk. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Liked: Extremely helpful staff. Even though there is no lift, they bothered to build a mini elevator for your luggage. They serve very good breakfast. I had to fly off early on 2 Jan 2010. I negotiated with them to allow me to have my breakfast on my first day. They agreed even though it is not in line with their policy. Overall, I think it is definitely worth the money that you are paying.

Liked: This hostel was VERY clean, friendly and had a GREAT breakfast included in the price. I felt that I got much more for such a low price hostel. The location was a little dodgy, however, and difficult for taxi drivers to find- but all this we knew already by reading reviews online. It did advertise a "10 minute walk" to Khao San Rd, which was more like 20 minutes, but still close enough to walk. This was a great, clean, friendly hostel for such a cheap price.

Liked: Clean room, bathroom, corridor, lobby and the food hall. The breakfast is good as they offer variety local meal every morning other than the continental breakfast. It is even nicer since they also offer free coffee/tea. This place is also easy to get tuk-tuk or taxi to many destinations in the city of Bangkok. Many massage shops around here. Staying here is like feeling at home. Air-con is available as well in the room with free towels. Nice place.

Liked: The elevator for our luggage was a nice addition since we stayed on the 4th floor. Internet was very fast and available even in the rooms. Air-conditioner worked weird for both our rooms though (kept shutting off).

Liked: The breakfast was included and was amazing every morning. The trip organised to the floating market was good value for money. You can have your laundry dont there for a very cheap price and was done in 24 hours. Free wifi in your room. No safety lockers or safe but felt very happy leaving possesions in the room. Fridge in room, good air conditioning. Would definately recommend it and would stay there again if I go back to Bangkok!

Liked: Very clean, good breakfast, helpful staff, in a quiet street just 10 mins from hustle and bustle of Khao San Road. Had a great stay and would highly recommend. Only things I would say - only chances to socialise are over breakfast, and the 'double bed' is two single beds with a thin mattress over the top of the two - but it was very comfy so no complaints here.

Liked: Roof terrace was excellent, good place to enjoy cold beer. The staff was really nice and helpful. They also organized our transport to the airport in the middle of the night. The breakfast was one of the best we got in Bangkok: in addition to fresh fruits and toast, there were Thai food etc. The place was more expensive than many others in that area, but it's worth staying!
