Liked: Clean and spotless, large double room. Easy shuttle service (free) to and from airport (10mins). Great for airport stopover. Aircon, tv, WIFI all worked perfectly. There were street stalls at night for food close by and TWO 7elevens... Restaurant was fine, meals around 100B.

Disliked: Don't stay here for seeing the city and sights of Bangkok (too far out).

Liked: staff is very helpful, and my room was spacious, very comfortable and clean, it's close to the airport, transfer to/from airport is included

Disliked: it only makes sense staying there, if you are on transit and need a stay close to the airport. to go to the city you need to go back to the airport or lad krabang station to take the skytrain to the centre.

Liked: Nice and clean rooms. Free and ok breakfast.

Disliked: We had one thing we wanted and it was a swimming pool. Yes there was a pool but you couldn't use it because there were fixing it...

Disliked: My air-con unit dripped water onto the floor, I nearly slipped over twice.

Liked: Great location and price. Staff was nice. Would highly recommend staying here!

Disliked: No elevator and i stayed on the 5th floor. Not fun caring a big bag down. But the door man carried it up.

Liked: Excellent for layovers in Bangkok and great value for money. The free transfers between the airport and hotel were punctual. A decent breakfast is included as well.

Disliked: The bathroom didn't have a bathtub --- just a shower head and drain.

Liked: close to airport with free airport pickup/dropoff. its nice if u dont have to spend too much time in the city and relax. complimentary breakfast included. very nice resort type atmosphere if you just want to chill. the towels were shaped like a flower

Disliked: to get to the city take the shuttle back to the airport then the express train for 35 baht.

Liked: The airport pickup and transfer was good and free. The breakfast was filling- went for the Thai breakfast instead of the American breakfast.

Disliked: Not too much to do around the resort , but close to the airport.

Disliked: The location is not great, but I knew this would be the case staying at an airport hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and massage places in the area.

Disliked: DO NOT STAY AT ATHIS HOTEL. My girlfriend and I arrived early on the morning of 24 November after taking an overnight bus from Surrathani. On arrival we were told because we were early we couldn't check in unless we paid an extra 200THB an hour to check in to our room, EVEN though the room was vacant and ready. We refused as were we short on local currency and were already over budget for the trip. We overlooked this but were disappointed as other hotels and hostels we had stayed in Thailand had no qualms with letting us check in early. We were told to leave our bags in reception while we became acustomed to the neighbourhood. When they eventually let us check in at 1pm they were rude unhelpful and laughing, speaking in Thai the entire time. We again, chalked it up to us being cranky after a lot of travelling and lack of sleep. However, the next day after we checked out and arrived at the airport, we made a startling discovery. We were robbed. They took cash, my gf' bank card, clothes, sunglasses, perfume, excercise equpment, OPENED up Christmas and birthday cards my parents had given me at home, looking for more money. We were horrified when we realised this and I knew that it was in THONG TA RESORT AND SPA were this happened. We had secure locks on our bags the entire bus journey and I checked that everything valuable was there when we got off. The only place it could have been was either when we left our bags unattended or after we checked in and were out seeing the city. DO NOT STAY HERE. We were lucky in that I took the majority of important things with me everyday in a day pack (passports, my credit and debit cards with our savings and my DSLR) It only takes one instance for potentially you're entire trip to be ruined. DO NOT make the same mistake as us and stay here because we're left being able to take no action and losing alot of valuable and personal belongings.

Liked: Just to be clear, location is good if you are staying one night and need to be near the airport. Otherwise it is to far from the city. The hotel is actually really nice. Huge room. Very clean. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast. They also offer free shuttle to/from airport.

Disliked: A/C in the room very noisy. We coyld't work out how the hot shower worked but the water temperature was ok anyway.

Liked: V close to airport, with smart pickups every half hour. V good room, ideal 1hr massage, good night's sleep - all for reasonable price and little/no fuss. Perfect after a 12 hour flight.

Disliked: Not much to do in local area, although there is a Market to wander.

Liked: really good value for a clean airport hotel, really nice, big rooms for the money and in a nice area that you can walk around in a couple areas with good market, food market and street stalls.

Disliked: the only thing is that to get to the centre of bangkok you have to get a taxi to the airport to then get the skytrain in, and a taxi back, which is a bit of a hassle but isn't too expensive, except you have to pay the 50B airport taxi fee when coming back. not all staff spoke perfect english but most were good enough.

Disliked: The wifi didn't work in our room. Also, they didn't respond to any of our emails so we weren't sure if they were going to pick us up or not at the airport.

Liked: this place was awesome. we were very tired from our flights and arrived at midnight. We were very happy to see them waiting for us upon arrival. The place was cool and a great price. Worth checking out... just down the street there was a great restaurant with a hookah lounge and live band. will definitely return if we have a late or early flight out of bangkok!

Disliked: all good!

Liked: Thong Ta is a very handy hotel for th airport, there are plenty of eating options nearby, if you want more than hotel food. The staff are great, I have stayed here a number of times now and don't have any reason to look elsewhere.

Disliked: Nothing springs to mind.

Disliked: maybe staff do not often check email and website. they hardly know my friend would come first before 2 of us (7 hours later) even I emailed them many times. And there are some confusion about room arrangement because of that.

Liked: It had kind of a kitschy Thai spirit in the centre of Bangkok. It isn't *just* an overnight resort, but a little Thai escape in the centre of the city! The breakfast was good (eggs, ham and toast), the area around the hotel has some nice massage parlors that are cheaper than at the resort, and we went out for dinner and drinks on the next street over and every restaurant had live bands. There is also a cute market nearby with lots of deals! Also the free return trip was nice. We stayed with a friend who had a different departure time than us and were a little worried based on what they said here in comments, but because we paid for a taxi TO the resort, we were able to use our "return trip" to go at to separate times back to the airport the next morning. The service was nice, clean hotel, and very convenient. I would totally recommend it!!

Disliked: The wireless was broken when we first got there and we had to wait until 10PM for it to be fixed. They have computers available to pay for internet in the lobby, but since the free internet was broken in the hotel, I thought it would be logical that the lobby computers would be free until it was fixed--not the case. They insisted that i pay the 15 baht. Come on.
