Liked: Smack bang in the middle of Chinatown an easy 5 minute walk from Hua Lamphong station & travel hub. We were in Bkk for Chinese New year & our room overlooked the best of the action (although the security police made us close the window and back away from it for a royal drive-past - quite understandable) Decoration in progress (Jan 2012) and our freshly-painted room was a bargain & was big enough to be comfortable when 3 guests came for tea 7 pee's etc.. Modest breakfast included but coffee top-ups must be paid for..

Disliked: First night we had a room facing the back yard & Asian back yards aren't attractive so you had to keep curtains closed & lights on. We asked to change & no problem

Liked: perfect location to Chinatown and Hua Lompong, Hotel downrun in meantime, but anyhow still charming - dont exspect too much, youll get what you pay for

Liked: Nice location if you want to visit China town but not close to downtown or many old temples...ok location for train station just short taxi ride....generally the building is in a poor state of repair but some of the rooms are being upgraded...the rooms are cleaned daily.

Liked: Hostel was good value for money, bare in mind at this price you are not going to get a Hilton. So you have to excuse the grubby carpets and slightly 'off' white bathroom. Facilities were ok in the room, bit cheeky charging you for tea and coffee. We booked a deluxe double and it didn't seem 'deluxe', especially when we got a twin and no fridge. Still, short stays here are fine especially if you like to be near China town and very close to the new metro line, this is it biggest plus points..

Liked: The hostel's location is great! It is just a short distance from tourist attractions. The price is very affordable and breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff esp in the reception were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back and stay again here!

Liked: Close to Hua Lamhong station, making it easy when just arriving in Bangkok and not having to deal with Taxis and Tuk Tuks. It's centrral to the other areas of Bangkok, easy enough to walk to Khao San road and metro/sky train to Sukumwit and Silom.It's very basic, but the rooms were meticulously cleaned with clean towels and linen everyday. Brekfast was fine and for the price, this hotel was well liked by us!

Liked: Nice hotel located near the city center, nice and furnished room at a honest price. Staff really nice and on the 5th floor they have a small restaurant with good food

Liked: It´s a good place to stay like for a night. The beds are really hard and everythings kinda old. But the roos was big and had AC. It´s loud bc there´s traffic just in front of the hostel (it´s located in Chinatown so there´s not much time when there´s NO traffic). Breakfast´s ok. If you don´t expect a lot you can stay there even longer.

Liked: Location seems to be quite central and china town is definatly a great area to visit even if you dont stay there. Even though the breakfast was basic and the staff understood little english in the restaurant it was free and kept us going until lunch. The staff were super friendly and we even could check in at 9am in the morning a major plus after an overnight flight with little sleep!!!! This place was super cheap and clean and the only thing missing was a fridge in the room- otherwise we would never leave.
