We are accredited as a Tourist Hotel from the Ministry of Tourism and Natural Resources holding the TALA license of a one star rated hotel in Tanzania. Starlight Hotel is located in the heart of the city and directly opposite our national pride Mnazi Moja Park; this is adjacent to Bibititi Mohamed and Uhuru Streets. On one side is seen the Uhuru Torch Monument erected to symbolise the Freedom Torch placed at the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro upon Tanzania's attainment of independence. On the other side of the park is the Republic Fountain, which commemorated the foundation of the republic in 1962.
