Architectural design

There are 85 floors in the Tuntex Sky Tower (TST). It stands 367 meters. The construction of the TST started in 1994 and finished in 1997. It currently ranks the ninth tallest building in the world. The structure of the building is composed with three building blocks: two of them stand on the ground and support the third which looks like it suspends in the midair.

Floor plan

There are 53 high-speed elevators and 40 escalators inside the building. It was built to be a complex building for business, entertainment, shopping, restaurants, hotels, etc. The middle levels of the building are for offices; the higher levels are for hotel rooms and restaurants. The platform on the 75th floor offer great view of the harbor, the ocean and the city. The high-speed elevator takes only 43 seconds to reach the top of the building. Inside the elevator, special lighting effects provide a visual feast as the elevator goes up.
