Liked: An ordinary, solid hotel, close to the main train station.

Disliked: I think this place should be around 15 franks cheaper. They complicate the usage of wi fi with a system in which you apply for a password through the internet which is then sent to your mobile. Since not all foreigners have a mobile that can be used in Switzerland and some glitches can be expected due to the difference in phone technology if you are coming from, let's say Asia, it would help if they could do away with this system. That being said, if you don't have a mobile you or the text message with the password hasn't reach you you can plead to the reception to give you the password, which they will probably do (it seems that they are willing to give you the password but that the password is automatically changed at certain intervals and that sometimes that can pose an obstacle for the receptions staff in terms of knowing what the password is at that particular time).

Liked: The location was great. 15 minutes from the airport. 2 minute walk from the main train station. Also could leave our bags there after check-out. Highly recommended.

Liked: Simple, clean, basic hotel, well located a short stroll from the main train station. We were only in Zurich for the evening as a stopover on our way to Interlaken and the Swiss Alps and it was good value for money for a simple and convenient place to sleep. The breakfast that was included was pretty good, particularly given the room rate, I was just expecting cereal and coffee, but there was also some pastries, cheese, ham, juice, lots of cereal etc.

Liked: Great location, easy to find. You can walk everywhere in minutes. Friendly staff, comfortable beds - and not too pricey - for Zurich! Near enough to the old town, but without the nighttime noise of the bars and nightclubs. I'd stay there again.
