Liked: Location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bedsheets were clean.

Disliked: Renovation wouldn't hurt. Everything from carpet on the floor to paint on the walls, furniture, shower is old in the negative sense of the word.

Liked: The location is perfect. The atmosphere is fun if you're there to have a little fun. The noise from the street on Friday and Saturday nights is a little loud but tolerable. Has a funky feel and comfortable.

Disliked: You have to share a showers with the whole floor which isn't great...but it's Europe!

Disliked: no internet or WiFi but close to starbucks (for free WiFi), one toilet and shower for 1 floor. no air conditioning. not a good place if you want a quiet nights rest

Liked: friendly stuff, great location. i guess, the price is ok given Swiss standards, late check-out, i could leave my bag at the hostel after checking-out

Disliked: the room was noisy, the floor in the shower was always wet, there was no kitchen, at least not on the floor, no wifi internet, it was very noisy since there are many bars and restaurants around. I stayed there during a period of hot weather and it was impossible to sleep because the room would get hot and stuffy. the lights in the room were dark. The room looked and felt pretty old and not renovated for a long time.

Liked: its really cool, old school vibe was really comfortable. the reception was helpful and friendly. the rooms were clean, the common bathrooms were clean. its located in a great area, and while it is expensive, its good value for a place like zurich.

Disliked: my only complaint is that they didnt have wifi in the hotel. think it would be helpful to some travellers to have the internet. but everything else was great

Disliked: trafic on the street until late at night,and very early start again.Have to close window definitly.

Liked: Big, spacious rooms! Clean bed and nice big pillows. The decor was very cool. helpful and friendly staff.

Disliked: pretty pricey for a hostel, however it is located in Zurich, which is an expensive city already.... Could use a few more bathrooms/showers.

Liked: Best thing is the extraordinary Indian restaurant within the same building. Awesome cooking!!

Liked: Interesting concept, fun, staff very friendly,welcoming and helpful.

Disliked: A bit run down and grim - could do with a fresh coat of paint and new carpets etc. One of the beds in our twin room had broken bed slats and was a bit precarious!

Liked: It is located right in the heart of the old town.

Disliked: The room was tiny and dark. The themed aspect was basically a picture on the wall and a gold disc! The shared shower in the corridor had no lock on the door. It didn't feel like very good value for money (although Zürich is expensive, so this is somewhat hard to guage)

Liked: The locations of this hotel is awesome. Right in the heart of Zurich very easy to walk to the sights, shops and restaurants. This place definitely has some character which is fun.

Disliked: There is an Indian restaurant in the same building so when you first walk in, the smell is strong but once you get through the first set of stairs the smell is no longer there. This place is definitely more of a hostel than a hotel so be prepared, the bathrooms are shared.

Liked: Close to Zurich HB.Clean and big.

Disliked: Private Triple room = No bathroom?!?! Even though it was clear on the website after finding out upon checking-in, how is it considered a private room without a bathroom?? It was such a big room with no bathroom, ridiculous in my opinion. Not worth the money, found out there was cheaper hotels in the same area.
