Liked: The location of this hostel is very convenient to the railway station and easy to find. The hostel is in a lovely area surrounded by residential buildings and some discree business places. We shared a bathroom which is not what we usually do but we had no problems and we were able to access the showers and toilets without having to wait which could be different in high season we were there in April. The hostel was exceptionally clean and the breakfast room was friendly, large and airy and also immaculately clean. The breakfast was more than adequate served fresh and nicely presented. Would I stay ther again yes definitely! I would also certainly recommend it to others - keep in mind high season may mean a wait for the shared bathroom facilities though. We are a couple in our mid 50's and try to stay in good 2 or 3 star accommodation. Our priority is cleanliness first, convenience to public transport in a safe area and good value for money the Alpha more than delivered in all of these criteria. I cant remember if Hostelbookers was promoted sorry.Thankyou.

Liked: this hostel is actually a hotel, but its sooo nice! i bet an average room would be 150euros a nite, but if you stay in the hostel then its two people per room for under 30euroes. the rooms are so nice and clean and everything right down to the nice hard wood flooring is beautiful. it has a very ikea-ish feeling. the staff goes out of their way to help you too, we arrived very late due to train mix ups and the stff waited, after closing time to let us in. stay here or regret it!
