Liked: Location is excellent, just 10 mins to station while dragging the luggage. Breakfast is included and excellent continental quality breakfast before a big hike. Good first experience in Gridswald. We had to share toilet facilities but it was clean and sufficient hot water for long showers.

Disliked: We were unfortunate to get the room which faces the main road. We moved in on Saturday night and could hear the party all night long from the self catering apartment hotel across. However on Sunday night it was pin drop quite!

Liked: Convenient to walk to train station. The breakfast is quite good and has a cosy breakfast room .

Disliked: The man at reception is not very helpful.

Liked: The room with bolcony is excellent! It is exactlly face to the Elger Mt. The location is good which easy to find.

Liked: Fairly central location.

Disliked: Some of the rooms are rather odd sized, e.g. 2 single beds arranged horizontally

Liked: Very friendly owners, excellent central location. Balcony rooms have fantastic views.

Disliked: The rooms facing the street are quite noisy sometimes, especially on Wednesdays when the main street is closed off and music and noise continue until around 11:30. We were then woken early by roadsweepers clearing up!

Liked: Good breakfast. Good base for skiing/boarding. Buses to main lift quite frequently. Ski and board room available for use. The hotel offered a reasonable half-board option with a restaurant across the road over Christmas period.

Liked: The staff were very friendly, the rooms cosy and a good size and a very generous, Swiss-style breakfast was a great way to fill up before a big days skiing. The location is right in the heart of the town and very accessible- great bar and restaurant just across the road.

Liked: We really loved staying here,great breakfast,helpfull, clean and overall good feelling. Location the best, we had a view to the Eiger and wow, just amazing.We enjoyed the quiet surroundings as well.
