Liked: Great location- very near to city center. Rooms clean and overall very tidy.

Disliked: View from the room was on the ruins of some house full of some trash. But above that though you could see the top of the Puerta de Bisagra towers. No hair dryer in the hotel- on the reception they provided one, but didn't fit to the bold.

Liked: Highly recommend staying here in Hotel Sol. They have two units, Hotel Sol and Hostel Sol. Both are around the same price. The room at Hotel Sol seemed like 3-4star hotel except that the private ensuite bed was two twin size beds pushed together. If you are staying in Toledo, definitely choose Hotel Sol. Good location, easy to get to Old Toledo's main entrance (5 min walk) which is easy to get to the train station afterwards. Friendly staff.

Liked: It was the hotel sol, not a hostel situated next to the puerta de sol (but outside the wall). The downtown is only 5-9 minutes walk far away - for example the mezquita was really close (sadly it was under construction). The hotel is nothing special but the room was really clean and tidy. The view from our window wasn't so nice but that's not so important because just after one minute walk you can find an amazing landscape, Toledo is a wonderful and lovely city at all. Overall it was worth it.

Liked: It was located in the city center, the staff was nice and the room was clean. The bad thing is that internet doesn´t work after 11 pm since they close the hotel at that hour.

Liked: The Hostel was a little way out of the thick of Toledo, but it wasn't a problem. The place was clean and the rooms were large. If you want to stay somewhere a little more central, this is not the place for you.

Liked: The Hotel Sol was very clean, quiet and yet very well located. The staff were oustandingly friendly and helpful on all fronts. The only little thing was that the availibilty of an iron for guests at reception would have been great, but again it is only a small detail.

Liked: It´s situated quite centrally, so it´s easy to get around by foot or by bus. Just be prepared to climb a few steep roads!
