Liked: Great location and character of the building.

Disliked: Noise from other rooms was quite loud, it's easy to hear people walking around or even snoring.

Liked: the hotel was in the centre of the old town, beautiful location, couldnt be better. Hotel a bit basic, but did have remote control air con and a seperate shower en suite. Overall a good place to stay

Liked: Hotel El Castillo is great because: it is centrally located, right in the heart of the old part of Marbella and a very short walk to the beach. My room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The man at reception was very calm and nice and I was able to leave my backpack in the hotel after check out. For the price, I wish they'd have offered something for breakfast. And since it's more of a hotel, it's not as easy to meet other travelers. For a quiet and calm stay, I'd definitely recommend this place.

Liked: perfect, beautiful location in the middle of the old core of Marbella, close to the beach and shops... you can come home at night whenever you want, there is always someone at the reception.... really loved my stay here
