Liked: the room is comparable to a hotel more than a hostel. the old guy who stayed up during the night was very very helpful eventhough he didn't speak nor understand english.

Disliked: none. but don't forget to bring your own socket adapter if you are not from europe

Liked: This hostel was amazing. My friends and I booked the 4 person suite. It was reasonably priced and really really nice. It appeared to be recently redone. The bathroom was clean, shower hot and we were given ample towels. The owner even let us drop off our luggage way before our scheduled check in. This hostel is not a far walk from shopping and restaurants, the beach is also really really close. Cab ride from bus station was about 8 euros i think which wasn't bad at all.

Liked: Hotel Alameda was within walking distance of almost all the major tourist sites in Malaga. It was also relatively easy to get to the bus station and airport from the hotel. Staff were helpful and able to answer all questions we had about the area. We were worried they would not speak English but their English was sufficient for communicating accurate answers to our questions.

Disliked: Shower was difficult to use without getting water all over the floor and bathroom ventilation was poor causing water condensation all over the bathroom and hotel room after we showered.

Liked: If you definitely need a private room, and you do not mind where it is, how small it is, and how hard it is to find, then there is no problem with this hotel. However, if you are just looking for a cheap place to stay, stay somewhere a bit further out, and cheaper. Only stay here if you really need a private room. I would have preferred to have stayed at a cheaper hostel a bit further out.

Disliked: The rooms were tiny. There is no atmosphere at this hotel, no lobby, nothing. When you arrive, you have to be buzzed in to the building. Then you have to know that you have to wait for the right side elevator (not the left) and they will bring you upstairs (because they can see you with the cameras). They do not speak English (which was fine because I speak Spanish). I would suggest either paying a bit more money for a nicer place, or spending way less money and going to a legit hostel.

Liked: It is very close to the city center. Take a right, trough the park, left and you are there. There is also a tourist information along the way to the center.

Disliked: When you arrive you have to know that you have to take the elevator up to the 8th floor. And the staff doesn't speak a word of english so you have to talk with your hands and feet. Wich is good for your spanish, and they appriciate it if you try to talk in their language.

Liked: I liked how it was very easy to find once you figured out how to get from the airport to the main area. It is right on top of the main shopping and site-seeing area. A perfect little hotel.

Disliked: The night staff did not speak english so it was hard to find out where to eat dinner that was a reasonable price.

Liked: Excellent location, the downtown is only 2 minutes walk, beach is only 10 minutes walk, superb! Room is clean, staff is great, bathroom is ok, good place to stay.

Disliked: Room is a little bit small.

Liked: Was a good location between the centre of town with all the shops and restaurants and the beach. Also close to public transport.

Disliked: The beds were quite firm

Liked: Location. It was less than a minute walking from main street Alameda Principal. Fair price. Clean

Disliked: No breakfast included. (Elevator up to 8:th floor where the hotel was located can not be managed wihout help from reception during evenings and nights. A key instead would be nice)
