Liked: excellent location. Close to the heart of the city. Still calm enough to get some good sleep. Proximity to the metro is another attraction.

Disliked: Slightly pricier than the equivalent or even better hotels. Came across better deals with other hotels , which were better, after I had booked here (this was non-refundable)

Liked: Super hotel for the price. Very powerful shower which compliments a very good bathroom. In general the rooms are very nice and clean. You feel very safe in the Hotel especially as the receptionist has to let you in. The staff almost all speak English and are very helpful. The location is prime as it's just off the main road, close to restaurants and a 5 minute walk from the Palace and the surrounding famous plazas. A great Hotel, would recommend to anyone, and at the price I paid, a bargain.

Disliked: The outside of the buidling looks a little unfriendly and there was no wifi. Otherwise everything was great.

Liked: It was a very nice hotel, not a hostel. Well worth the slightly higher price than other hostels. good location, extremely close to the metro and important areas of the city.

Disliked: It was not made clear that breakfast was not included. We did not realize we had to pay until we checked out.

Liked: The location was exceptional, the rooms were very clean and there was a thoughtful welcome basket of fruit & water upon arrival. The hotel itself was very smart: fashionably modern but with a friendly atmosphere ie: not intimidating. The best feature was the staff. They were friendly and more than happy to share their knowledge of Madrid and Spain in general.

Disliked: The advertisement on Hostelbookers said there was free airport pickup for the hotel. This was incorrect and it wasted about 2 hours of our time. The hotel staff were very sensitive to this and very quickly helped us recover from our disappointment.
