Liked: Rooms were relatively large, place was quiet (street noise though, from people walking past late at night). Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, some spoke very good English. Beds were ok for comfort. Laptop and internet access was a wonderful bonus. Washrooms are in good working order. Location is FANTASTIC.

Disliked: Hard to get to by car if your taxi driver is not careful. Our taxi ended up dropping us off on the opposite side of Puerta del Sol and pointed us across the square in the general direction of the hotel, and we had to find it ourselves by foot. Leaving by taxi was easier as staff got a taxi to pick us up right in front. Shower had massage jets but they were not working 100% and probably needed to be replaced. Shower head was working fine. Beware of the top bunk if you have a bunk bed in your room. The safety bar came out very easily. I would not put a child up there.

Liked: It was right on the centre of Madrid.

Disliked: There was a breakfast charge on the bill when we never had breakfast. Someone used my sister`s signature. The hotel apologized and didnt charge for it.

Liked: It was a great property with a nice clean bathroom and a laptop in every room with free wi-fi which was a bonus. The staff were helpful and friendly and the location was excellent.

Disliked: The buffet breakfast was quite poor with a limited range and no eggs left even though they still had 90 minutes left to serve when we had it.

Liked: I loved the balcony and complimentary lap top in our room!! That really made keeping in touch with loved ones easy while on vacation! Breakfast was good too!

Disliked: No laundry mats anywhere in Madrid! And didn't know about the laundry service offered at the hotel until it was too late.

Liked: This hotel was fantastic. Our private room was small but there was AC and a laptop with free internet. Staff was not incredibly friendly but they were helpful. Safe in the room as well as a balcony overlooking a busy street in Puerta del Sol. Would definetly stay here again.

Liked: It's at the center of madrid, in the most turistic area, near El Corte Ingles, if you want to do some shopping. Everything was as described. The room was confortable, albeit a bit small. The staff was friendly and gave us good indication about what to visit. I would stay there again, if i went back to Madrid.

Liked: We were suitably impressed with the decor and breakfast. Our room was quiet and we made full use of the laptop in the room! We were very close to everything and didn't really need to use the metro. We would definitely stay there again!
