Liked: Beautiful Hotel with lots of character and a gorgeous patio. Gives you a good feel of what it's like to live in a traditional Cordoban building. Reception was very friendly and spoke English! (sometimes hard to come by in Spain). The room was spacious, very clean and well fitted and opened out to a smaller courtyard. And very quiet too despite the activities on the street. The TV has only Spanish channels, although you're surely not visiting Cordoba to watch TV! Location wise, it's very convenient as well as its close to the main road where the Bus runs and within walking distance to the Mezquita and other sites and cute tapas bars, where you can get 1 litre of Sangria for 5 Euros. Highly recommended as the price was very reasonable for the standard of the property.

Liked: We can just walk to Mezquita-Cathedral, Alcazar and lots of souvenir shops from here. The room is also amazing. It is also near to the bus stop. Great location!

Liked: Lovely appartment and very good location close to city centre and all the touristic places to visit. The car park was ideal for us as it saved us having to find space on the street to park our car.

Disliked: Car park very small and not easy to access with an average size car (tiny door in a tiny street full of parked cars), we struggled to get in but the hotel owner was nice enough to help us get the car out when we left.

Liked: well located, and most of the staff was very helpful, but you got a very different service depending on who was at the front desk etc.

Disliked: the room was very clean when we arrived but the cleaning ones we were in the room could have been better

Liked: This was more or less like a standard hotel; very clean, nice bathroom, tv, etc.

Disliked: I think we must have come at an 'off' time - the air conditioning unit in the room was leaking substantially (we had to put a trash can in the middle of the floor and listen to constant dripping whenever we were in the room) and, though the hotel advertized that they had internet, it was down the entire night while we were there.

Liked: This was one of the highlights of our trip. We were given a three room apartment with a view overlooking a historic plaza. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to any travellers.

Liked: We liked just about everything; the room was plenty big enough for me and my two children; superb position in center of Cordoba; safe secure underground parking at the hostal; an excellent all-you-can-eat breakfast for 5 euros and friendly, helpful staff who are happy to answer any question with a smile and patience. I have been to Spain for over 30 years and, without doubt, this is probably one of the best hostals I have ever encountered.

Disliked: What isn't there to like about this hostal?

Disliked: Parking space is a nightmare We stayed at one of the apartments (rather than the hostal) which was very convenient but must have had some issues with the pipes as there was a bad smell from the bathroom (not much with the toilet itself but the sink and shower)

Liked: Along my stay in Spain, this is the only place I would give a 5 star to. The ambience of the hotel, lively decoration of the lobby, warm welcome by its friendly staffs, and location not so far from the main attractions, such as the Mezquita. The place was very clean, everything was provided, TV, air conditioning, spatious rooms, kitchen, and not to mention free car parking. We stayed in a private ensuite for three, I highly recommend them over dorms, as you get extra privacy and facilities, you just got to add up a little more to the price and that's it

Liked: location was great for seeing the attractions

Disliked: The website says it has underground parking which it does, however, we had a total nightmare trying to drive to it so ended up abandonning our car on the street... If you plan to drive in Cordoba... beware! there are so many 1 way streets trying to navigate is totally impossible. Also made worse by the fact that the road near the hotel is closed off!!

Liked: The very friendly receptionists and all the staff, and a very cosy and centralised Hotel. We only choose our Hostels and Hotels if listed on Lonely Planet as a guide. Furthermore, the price was very resonable to our pocket at this time of world recession as we flown also very very cheap by Ryan Air.

Disliked: Price was resonable of the hotel, but if breakfast €5 is not charged extra (to be breakfast free of charge) we think we can come back again.

Liked: Its central location to the old town and its attractions. After a few problems we were moved to a lovely room at the rear of the property which was large and very quite. Staff were very helpful.

Liked: Its location is undiscusiable, it is at the center of the old town, and the well paid service.

Disliked: First of all the hotel is summer hotel and designed for the warm weather so it is kind of cool at the corridors during this season and the room of the first floor is kind of damp, but they were friendly and changed the room as fast as possible.

Liked: The breakfast was great - plenty to eat and a big variety for five euros. The property has a hotel and a hostel and an apartment building all in the same street. Very well located close to the Mezquita and river. Spacious and very clean.Highly recommended.

Disliked: The owners didn't want to give us more than one key for our room which was a bit inconvenient. Otherwise everything else was great.

Liked: We booked into the hostal but were upgraded to an apartment in the hotel which was obviously more luxurious.

Liked: This is an excelent hotel, in which we got more then our moneys worth. Not a place to meet people but everything else was very nice, very clean, lovely rooms and lobby. Recommend.

Liked: Very clean, friendly staff, spacious room with full bath in the room, cable TV, great air-conditioning, and a 5 Euro buffet breakfast that was great! Also, a great location and very close to all of old Cordoba!
