Liked: We were only in Almeria for one night stopover- so the Hotel was adequate for our needs. The reception was very friendly and helpful and they had a good wi-fi signal- which was a life saver for me as I had important work emails to send! The room was a good size and immaculately clean. All fittings were top notch. It even had a mini bar and tv although we did not use it. Location wise- its about a 15 min walk to the train station and similar to the beach and other sites. It is located in a very charming plaza which has a statue of John Lennon- although Im not sure what was the significance, perhaps he stayed there in Almeria? We did stay for breakfast as we had an early morning train- but I imgaine it would've been good. Definitely recommend this place all round.

Disliked: 15 min walk to the train station- would've preferred it closer!

Liked: There is total privacy in this basic, friendly hotel. The room was comfortable, with a nice flat screen TV. Torreluz II is in a superb location in the old city, with easy access to everything Almeria has to offer.

Liked: The Hotel is located in the city centre. From there you can easily reach shops, pubs, clubs and places worth seeing. It is clean and the service is very friendly and helpful.

Liked: This is Hotel, not a Hostel! We really enjoyed the luxury of an en-suite and the comfort of proper beds, but if you want a hostel atmosphere this isn't the place for you

Liked: We added a couple of nights and we were charged at the discounted rate.. Very clean, modern, and great value.

Disliked: The 2 star hotel backed onto a laneway with a strip bar which was noisy at night. Shower didnt drain properly.

Liked: It was pretty nice, and luxurious, but not really for backpackers, because its a hotel and they treat you that way. So no personal contact.

Disliked: the way we checked in. Not really helpful and anonimous

Disliked: Staff was gruff, it was a hotel so very difficult to meet people. Breakfast was not included.

Liked: Nice hotel near the main shopping street. Very nice and helpful staff

Disliked: 20 minute walk from train/bus station, no facilities to cool food or anything (but it's a hotel so we weren't really surprised) and it's a 15 minute walk to the beach. But it was a good place and I would go back again.

Liked: It is not really a hostel for people who want to meet other travellers and exchange stories etc. it is more hotel style, private rooms, buffet breakfast separately charged, etc. I thought it was excellent for what we were looking for and the staff were unbelievable helpfull.

Liked: Good value for the money: a private room with airconditioning that you can control yourself, a clean bathroom. Not everyone at the reception spoke English, but they were eager to help.
