Liked: It looks much more luxorious than you would think from the price. Everything is clean and quite well kept. Rooms offer enough space for six people. There is an restaurant, bar and pizzeria in the same complex.

Disliked: It's quite far from city center so you have to take a tram. Not bad if you want to take quiter Playa San Juan, but if you plan late parties in the center you have to take that into consideration.

Liked: Really helpful staff. Bus stop close by. Clean.

Disliked: The staff and their friends sit up all hours of the night in the bar which is directly next to the windows of all rooms. Not close to anything, although bus stop is.

Liked: lovely place, very clean and welcoming, swimming pool is a great bonus - Hostel is out of the way slightly but Tram Line 4 run directly to the bottom of the road, or Bus 22 to the top of the road. taxi is between €9-12 from the city centre, definitely worth a visit

Liked: Relaxing environment and location. Has lounge, pool, cafeteria, salón. Right nearby to bus 22 and tram L 4 to go to the center of town.

Disliked: No place to put recycling bin in lounge.

Disliked: This is an excellen hostel! Clean, friendly english speaking staff, nice restaurant and pool area, newly renovated bathrooms, free towels and linens with your stay etc. The amazing san juan beach is 20 min walk away and alicante 20 min away by tram or bus, which stops close to hostel. Amazing for the price of the hostel. Free wifi as well! If you are going to alicante- stay here!

Liked: The premise contained a bar, restaurant, swimming pool, jacquizi, and very helpful staff. There was a bus stop located near by and a nice beach about a 5 minute walk from there, quiet compared to the other larger beaches

Disliked: The hostel itself was too far from everything, there was only one computer with internet and you had to pay to use it

Liked: the staff was friendly (one lady in particular), she spoke English and was more then happy to spend time explaining and show how to get around.. pool was nice to sit around, the restaurant next door was connected to hostel so that was convenient..

Disliked: bad english from most staff.. the window in our room wouldn't lock and the room next door had a near break in.. the floor outside the bathroom was kind of mouldy and there was a weird sound on our last night that sounded like it was coming out of the timber floors (maybe termites!!) it wasn't a good night sleep!!

Liked: Very clean and the staff were quite helpful. Nice pool and they let me do my laundry for free.

Disliked: The location was quite far from the centre and it was hard to get back at night. Also some guy broke into my room and started coming through the window while I was there! Make sure you lock your windows and put your valuables in the lockers.

Liked: It has a nice size swimming pool, because there are a large number of private rooms, so it is more like a hotel than a hostel. Close to San Juan beach, which is really big and lovely, and has a few bars and restaurants.

Disliked: Quite far from Alicante. Normally I walk everywhere, but it wasn't possible here (the main road isn't really safe to walk on). The tram was cheap and frequent though, and some night trams run throughout the summer.

Liked: *Rooms equipped with TV, lamp, shower and bath tub. *All staff were really friendly. *2 restaurants next door to the hostal. Both were great value for money and offered a wide selection of foods. *Alicante city centre reachable by tram (20 minutes €1.25), by bus (30 minutes €1.25) and by taxi (15 mins €10) *Albufereta beach is a 10 min walk away *San Juan beach is a 15 min walk away *Both are also reachable by tram *Supermarkets, shops and pharmacies are close by so there's no need to go into the centre *Pool and terrace area in the hostal are really clean and are open from very early until very late.

Disliked: *Lack of plug sockets for charging phones, using hair straighteners at the same time.

Liked: Extremely helpful and pleasant staff in both the hostel and the bar. Nice room and bathroom; clean bathroom. Very clean.

Disliked: Bit too far away from the Rambla and a bit of a trek to walk to and from there. However it is situated in what is clearly the rich part of Alicante. Lockers were dirty and smelt of damp. Air conditioning was broken but it was ok to sleep with the window open.

Liked: This hostel was such good value for money! It was clean and attractively decorated. The staff were so friendly and helpful and were so eager to help. It is close to the beautiful San Juan beach which has great restaurants and bars and is also right on the number 22 bus route into Alicante itself. Very peaceful and the pool is beautiful. The restaurants and bars attached to the hostel are good quality although a little bit expensive.

Disliked: There was not much to dislike about this hostel. We had a lot of ants in our room but this is pretty standard for a hot country. There was an admin mistake where they booked us in for 3 nights instead of 4 but they corrected this with very little hassle. Only some of the staff speak English but they are usually around if you need them and even if you only speak a little Spanish the staff are helpful and eager to help you practice.

Liked: It was a great little place that was walking distance to the beaches of san juan. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the outside patio and restaurant/bar was a great bonus for hanging out.

Disliked: The room had a bit of a moldy smell to it, but nothing that wasn't bearable.

Liked: They provide free shampoo. The location was easy to find off of the metro stop.

Disliked: The room smelled like gerbals and chlorine. The window would not lock and it was at floor level so very easy to break into. When we told the reception about the window, they said they would fix it and they never did. At night, weird loud noises made us think either someone was trying to break in or it was haunted. We never figured out where it was coming from. The lady who works at the reception desk was really rude to us when we asked her simple questions. The location was horrible, because it was in a ghost town and no one was around. It was also really far from the city center, and the beach close to the hostel was actually cliffs with nudes on it.
