Liked: Nothing outstanding.

Disliked: Rather surly front desk - slow and disrespectful. Close to transport but main part of old town, port and main beach area a long walk. Restaurant below par for price, even for hotel-style buffet meals

Liked: The hotel is beautiful, very spacious and comfortable rooms with air-condition. Perfect location, close to the beach, tram stop, shopping centre and the city centre. The two computers are handy to have in the lounge area. Food:good value for money, pretty wide selection of starters, mains and desserts. Chefs are coming in every 5 minutes if there's still enough of eah meals, the bar is also cheap. The swimming pool is big enough with a nice area to relax.

Disliked: Wi-fi is poor in the building apart from the lounge area. There are 4 lifts, only 2 were working-very slowly. We had a room on the 5th floor, but lot of the time we needed to use the stairs, because after 5 minutes waiting time we gave up waiting for the lift. The reception staff is unacceptably rude - make us pay on arrival and literally shouted us when we rang the bell twice (as after midnight you need to ring the bell to get in) because there was no answer after the first one, so we tried again. The receptionist opened the door after shouted us ' si, si, si' in an absolute arrogant way. I'm from a country from the European Union so when on arrival I gave my ID to the staff at the reception, he looked (down) at me with a surprised and confused face asking me where is my country is. This is not costumer service. The quality of their communication and style doesn't match with the quality of the hotel. Wearing only swimmingsuit is not permitted in the lounge area. (??)

Liked: This is a legitimate three star hotel! I've been traveling and staying in an array of different hostels and it was amazing to stay in Kris Alicante! It's also only 200m away from the beach, you get your euro's worth!

Liked: Clean, tidy and really helpful staff. Great value for money. This place is a real gem. It is about a 10-15 minute walk (easy) from the main strip of town. There is a major shopping centre a 5 minute walk away full of fresh produce and other items. Great pool. Free Wireless internet. This is a hotel! not a hostel... If you see that this place available and you want to stay in cheap luxury, book it quickly!
