Liked: The location is in a very nice downtown area of Busan. And very close to Gwangalli Beach via the subway. The room and bathroom were very large for Korean standards. I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: It was a bit difficult to find at first.

Disliked: Korean Motels are used by Koreans like Japanese love hotels. I was aware of this when i booked but most of my Korean friends said they are very nice rooms and cheap so i searched online and found the Queens Motel. I found out from a Korean friend after I checked in that the rates I was charged on hostelbookers.com were much higher than what people normally pay for a Motel room. Once they saw the room they said I was really ripped off because there are many motels in the area much cheaper and much nicer than what I was staying in. At this point I wanted to change motels to a nearby one that was nicer (there are many motels on the same street) - this would have been possible at most places however the staff at queens motel insisted that I paid my entire 3 nights stay upfront when i was checking in. Not only did they insist this, but they refused to take my credit card at check in and wanted me to pay for the entire stay in cash (over 200 USD). I had to borrow cash off my friend just to check in. The pictures and description of the room are misleading. Yes there is a computer with an internet connection but it was agonizingly slow - i would leave the computer, take a shower, come back, and the page would still be loading. Its pretty much unusable. To make things worse the internet connection went down on my last day when I really needed the internet - it was down for at least 12 hours and was still not working by the time I checked out. I told the reception as soon as this happened but their only response was "system error" and said i should just wait a few hours. The only highlight of the room was the free mediocre soft-core porn channel on TV. This is essential entertainment to distract you from thinking about how cheated and ripped you have been from booking this room.

Liked: This hotel provided complimentary toast, eggs and coffee each morning! They also had a computer with internet in the room!

Liked: It was close to the subway station, and close to a supermarket, shopping, all kinds of restaurants, a traditional market and really anything you could need. The room was very comfortable and big with a mini fridge, bathtub, computer, and flat screen tv as well as air conditioning and black-out shutters on the windows. There was also a do-it-yourself free breakfast which I was very happy for.

Disliked: The room was a smoking room, which I suppose they all were.

Liked: Free hair gel.

Disliked: No closet to hang clothes. Not convenient if you do not know Korean. Asked to pay all the money when checking in; I actually paid a protion on each of the first three days.

Liked: Location is good and convenient as the motel is within 3 minutes walk to the Busan Lotte Hotel which is the Airport shuttle's first stop.Guest room is very clean and spacious with large LCD TV and mini refrigerator provided for guests' enjoyment. In addition comlimenatary drinking water and simple toast breakfast are provided.

Liked: Queens Motel made my trip wonderful! I wasn't expecting much because there weren't many pictures on this website, but the motel was more of a Hotel! It was very clean, had a huge bed, a HUGE TV, and was a great value for the cost. It had many amenities in the room like a blow dryer, fan and AC, bath tub, free drinks, water dispenser, free movies, DVD player, fridge, cable tv, The location was great, lots of restaurants/bars and easy to get to the subway. We really enjoyed the free movie service and free water/drinks. The staff was extremely friendly and helped me even though my Korean was very poor. Even helped us order delivery to our room in the middle of the night! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to other travelers.

Disliked: My only concern was that it was a little difficult to find from the subway and taxi drivers didn't know the location.

Liked: The room we stayed at was above our expectation. It has a large screen plasma TV mounted on the wall, a PC that you can connect to the internet for free. And the connection speed was good. The bathroom has a bathtub. Towels, shampoo, soap and toothpaste are all provided. They also provide housekeeping everyday. Breakfast is provided too. For a budget stay, Queens Motel is definitely a wise choice=P

Liked: I really love the place! Everything was much better than i expected. Location was good, the facilities was good, staff was helpful! Every room has their own computer for internet usage and a huge plasma screen tv! All toiletries are provided, they even provide toner and moisturiser, hair dryer etc!
