Liked: I think I have never stayed in such a friendly hotel, they really made me feel at home. The location was a bit outside of the center but they lent me a bicycle and it was only 10 min ride to the center. The neighbourhood was nice and gave a possibility to see more Ljubljana than if I had stayed at the center. The restaurant also served really good food with reasonable price. Altogether, this hotel deserves 5 stars!

Liked: Rooms are very nice and clean! You can feel really comfortable, there!

Disliked: Breakfast wasn't that good; only instant coffee, no fruits... You have to walk have an hour or take the bus if you want to get to the centre.

Liked: Katrca has lovely staff who were very accomodating and helpful when we needed help getting from the airport. Also with super comfy beds, its spotlessly clean and was a great place to get a decent nights kip. The bathrooms were well equipped and the breakfast was good too. Very interesting furniture downstairs in the bar!

Disliked: It was very quiet when we stayed there, and there was no possibility of food at the hostel until the following morning as the kitchen was closing for two weeks. This meant going into the city, but this was actually a pleasant walk so it did not cause a problem for us.

Liked: Great room, huge, lots of light and very comfortable bed. Friendly staff and nice bar downstairs.

Disliked: Town was about a 25 minute walk away but it was past the park so not too bad. A little expensive but a great room so worth it.

Liked: I liked the manager guy, Marko. But as it is a meeting place for many local people, they are quite loud on the street in the weekend.

Liked: Location a bit far out of town (although owner will pick you up if you give him notice.)No supermarket or take away in the area but Katrca offers good food in their restaurant.

Liked: This is a brand new (renovated) place and everyone is keen to please, it has a restaurant and bar below, the bedrooms and ensuite are really nice quality and the food is of an extremely high standard in the restaurant. It's ONLY 10 - 15 mins walk into the lovely old town of Ljublijana, and only 1 min by bus (No. 14) and the bus stop is 350 m down road. They also have car parking and the staff are really friendly! A great place to stay, we stayed for an extra night. Very clean and very nicely presented. An extremely pleasant and top value place to stay!
