Liked: The tiny television worked and they gave you a bar of soap.

Disliked: The hospital smell in the stairwell leading up to the rooms, the dirty utensils (pre-used coffee cups, glasses and spoons) in the room, the ridiculously loud toilet (so loud the cistern and bathroom door vibrates) that keeps you up at night and the really terrible breakfast on offer in the morning.

Liked: Very good value for money. Would stay again. You get what you pay for.

Disliked: Unfriendly bloke serving brekfest, but maby he just had a bad day..

Disliked: a bit shabby . my room -6- smelled of drains , and shower leaked. the cup for tea in my room was not clean.felt a bit like a youth hostel . definitely not 3 star as displayed outside.

Liked: Everything! value for money is very good. Big, clean room. Helpful staff and big tasty breakfast.

Liked: Really clean, recently decorated, friendly and no fussiness. Out of the 4 reception staff we met over the 3 days we stayed, only the male one was self important.

Disliked: We had Room 2 downstairs, The room was nice, clean and spacious but immediately next to a staff area and broom cupboard. Staff arrived at 0630 and were noisy with clatter, chat and doors banging. The strong smell of cleaning fluid on arrival was not too pleasant either. The area outside the French windows could do with a clean up.

Liked: Very nice, on the hill, just a few min walk from city centre. Bright. I had a lovely attic room, but no lift, so not fit for your mother!

Disliked: End March, the heating wasn't on, so while it wasn't cold, the room was on the chilly side in the AM. Ensuite smelled alittle damp, but very clean.

Liked: Location is good, breakfast is really good, I stayed here only one night . bed room including bathroom is clean, heating system is excellant . It's warm..but my duvet cover is not clean. it make me upset so I couldn't sleep well.I I hope they change it. it takes me 10min from central station to this place. it's really close to the art of school.

Liked: The water broke down very early in the morning and we were telephoned to get access to it via our bathroom while we were just getting up!! Breafast was stupidly early and only avail for one hour!! The receptionist still telephoned us to tell us we should be out even tho she disturbed us at 9am having been out till 4am and we had to wait a further 40 mins for the water to be hot in order to get a wash!!! The male nightshif worker was very friendly and helpful the morning female member of staff was very inconsiderate! Really felt due the disturbinging us ealy i the morning to get in our room then having to wait another 40 mins for hot water would have ment she would be a hell of a lot more customer frinendly but apparently not!!! By enlarge it was a good enough

Liked: When I read the description of the hotel on the website I was awaiting a "home feeling" upon arrival... It was not the case at all!The streets around are not inspiring security when arriving at night, the welcome is standard and the room : That's the worst seen ever!!The room was smelly and when opening the door of the bathroom, we understood why: it was mouldy!! The ceiling was more brown than it's original white color. Staying more than 2 minutes in this bathroom was already a nightmare.We arrived in the hotel late in the evening, very tired but once in the room were hesitated on staying...

Liked: It was so close to the city centre. Good restaurants, bar, cinema and theatres surround it. The bed was so comfortable. The room had a fresh scent. The breakfast served was average. It truly was value for money and I would stay there again next time i visit Glasgow.

Liked: It is important post came before I arrived. I was very curious to me whether it was deposited. Relief was great when I got. a friend has lost his identity card. At the front desk, it has now used the Embassy to reach.very good service
