Liked: Breakfast was good.

Liked: Clean and modern bathroom with shower; VERY good location - so close to the centre of the city, pretty calm and picturesque street, fresh bed clothing, and no dust.

Disliked: We came at 23.15 with bags and very tired, the door was locked, we rang for 10 minutes, no one answered. There were 2 telephone numbers to call if the reception was closed, but how are you supposed to do that if you do not know the country code or your telephone does not have an international roaming? Luckily some other guests came in 20 mins and saved us from the unfortunate destiny. The hotel staff were watching TV in another room...

Liked: Good breakfast bar with good variety

Disliked: smelt like indian food all over the hotel, and the management had taken money from my card without authorisation. Unorganised layout featuring a tv in our double room which faced towards the door and away from the bed!

Liked: It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in in comparison for its price. They should be more outcoming with pictures because the hotel is worth it. Very friendly staff and clean cosy decorated rooms, good breakfast, tea and coffee in the room, ... I would definitely recommend it!

Disliked: It's about 10 minutes walking to the centre. But that's really the only dislike I could think of.

Liked: GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. for the cost of some other hostels with a bed and a window this place has ensuite, tea and coffee in the room and a HD-TV. not too far out of the city, a 5-min bus ride (and then 10 min walk) or a 20 min walk if you're adventurous. also leith walk which is near the hostel is full of lovely restaurants that are cheaper than the city centre. great privacy and atmosphere for couples.

Disliked: a little bit out of the way, felt like we were constantly going back and forth.... the shower was a little dodgy, not a lot of pressure and kind of 'pulsed' between a trickle and a slight gush.

Liked: Clean and comfortable room on the top floor with bevelled celling and window in it, new shower, tea and coffee in a room, not far from the city centre, good breakfast. REALLY a good value for money!!! When I came they had an offer - second day for free. Check on their web site.

Disliked: International house keepers, friendly but not with the best english.

Liked: Good location close to lots of cafes and shops on Leith Walk. Room was comfortable with new shower and flat screen tv/DVD player.

Disliked: No breakfast after 9am.

Liked: Decent quality room and good location, about 20 minutes walk from the city centre.

Disliked: The price is extortionate but what else can you expect during festival season?

Liked: the place is generally good as it´s more like a hotel concept rather than a hostel..however, there was limited hot water supply as there were a big group of tourist who came in on the same day with us...we couldnt bath at all !! the breakfast was simple but nce, however, the hostel is very particular about the time for breakfast and kept the buffet line on time at 9am!! so for those who wake up slighly later, better look for a place for ur meal urself!!

Liked: Expecially the friendlyness was great!They've put me into a room with shower and toilet for free, although I only paid for a room without shower and toilet in the room.Very friendly and good staff!
