Liked: Good location, very friendly (and helpful) staff. EXCELLENT breakfast!

Disliked: The room was a bit small, and difficult to get to/from (but this isn't exactly the fault of the hotel... the bus system is problematic).

Liked: not much we didnt stay our full stay

Disliked: There isnt always parking available on site, the rooms were very noisy and at midnight there was a delivery by a truck to the hotel down the corridor! At the restaurant our food was late and our order was mixed up and there was only 2 tables at that time being served!

Liked: The girl at reception was very helpful and freindly. It's in a very nice, safe, convenient area. The room was comfortable and as you might expect. A fridge, and lots of tea/coffee with the kettle were handy in the room. I would recommend the hostel to a friend.

Disliked: Unfortunately the TV did not work, which was not really a big down point for me personally. I thought it was pretty expensive (£130 p/n) for what we got but to be fair it was during the Fringe Festival so prices were inflated generally.

Liked: Staff, breakfast, bar and restaurant areas.

Disliked: A bit basic, small room, safety deposit box didn't work.

Liked: This hotel is great value for money and in a great location. We stayed in one of the new rooms which were decorated beautifully and had everything you could want. Included in the price, which was a very reasonable £65/pp/pn, was a full scottish breakfast, buffet style so you could eat as much as you wanted. It has its own car park and there is a bus stop right outside going to the city centre,10min journey to the centre £1.20 anywhere you go on the bus. Excellent 4 star stay and will be going back.

Liked: Good bathroom, nice room with nice view, fine tea and cookies in the room, varied and reasonable good breakfast,, good cleaning, friendly welcome, good reachable by bus.
