Liked: staff would do anything for you. We stumbled in around 10pm and they kept the kitchen open to give us a cheap and fabulous thai feed.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: Comfortable rooms and the staff were amazingly nice. The 10% discount on the Thai restaurant downstairs was also nice.

Disliked: The showers had terrible pressure and the TV (in our first room, we switched to another after complaining) and the wifi (in the whole hotel) didn't work.

Liked: Sizeable room and bed; nice en suite; kettle, tea, phone, tv etc... everything pretty good!

Disliked: Main problem was the noise - our room was directly off the main hall so people coming and going early/late would wake us up. Also the price went up when not booking through hostelbookers.

Liked: Friendly staff, comfortable room, good value, good atmosphere. Very generous continental breakfast. Ideally situated for city centre. I will certainly come again.

Disliked: No dislikes.

Liked: Had a very pleasant stay in the hotel. The location is good - within a 10 minute walk from the Central Station, easy to find. Quite and cosy. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is a typical continental one, with the food good and delicious enough to enjoy and get full.

Disliked: Old windows which don't have double glazers do not serve as a good sound protection from the street noises. Wasn't a problem for me, but if your sleep is usually not so deep, bring earplugs. :)

Liked: The location was GREAT!!!!! The continental breakfast is great!!! Great value for the money!

Disliked: The smell of the ThaiPad restaurant down stairs DOES permeate the air in the building. The steps to the upper rooms feels like it is about to collapse under your feet. When we arrived, the staff still had their personal effects in our room (bath soaps, etc). The room was decent, however I don't think it was vaccummed at all, since there was drywall residue on the floor the entire time we were there. The towels were not changed the day that we had asked them to be changed.

Liked: The staff are really,really,nice.They go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable.Their Thai food on offer was a real culinary experience.The hotel location is a plus point.Very easy to explore Edinburgh from such location.

Disliked: The key of the room needs replacement.

Liked: Nice rooms good breckie!

Disliked: Bit hard to find, not super close to the center but pretty accessible

Liked: The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful and very accomodating since we did arrive very early.

Disliked: The room was clean and the bed linen and towels were fresh. The room itself needed a bit of work to it but for a one night stay was ideal. The shower was good but again the bathroom had an unfinished feel about it.

Liked: You have everything you need. TV with freeview, internet. Just 15 minutes walk from city centre. You have free city map with some guidelines.

Disliked: The breakfast, although it's not bad.

Liked: Decent room size with cable tv. Free wifi in the room and we also had a desk and chair to use. There is also a fridge and tea and coffee facilities in room. Shower pressure was awesome! First place in the UK where it's turned our really well. Overall a really pleasant place to stay. Breakfast was ok.

Disliked: Location is not exactly central but not too far either. The positives far outweigh the location. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

Liked: it was close to the city center, one of the stuff was kind and helpful, tried to find us a better room after we complaint.

Disliked: the noise of the rooms. incredibly, without earplugs hard to sleep at all. also the place was under construction somehow still.
