The Merith House Hotel

The Merith House Hotel is two victorian townhouses, situated in the heart of Scotland's ancient Capital. This family run business is based approximately 1 mile from Waverley Station and Princes Street on an excellent bus route.

The hotel overlooks the historic Leith Links where the rules of golf were drawn up and where Mary Queen of Scots learned the game. A mere 5-10 minutes away from many excellent restaurants bars and wine bars and of course the former Royal Yacht Britannia in the exciting new developments of the old port of Leith nearby.

Edinburgh has one of the most beautiful cityscapes in the world, making it the ideal city break destination. With Scotland's most famous castle dominating the city skyline, there is plenty to see and do with the perfect balance between all things traditional and contemporary.

All reservations can be cancelled free of charge 21 days before arrival, by 10am. In case of no show or breaching cancellation policy, the full stay will be charged. No charge when payment made by cash. 5% charge when paying by debit/credit card.
