Waverley rail station and the main bus station are a short taxi ride away. Haymarket rail station is less than a ten minute walk from the hotel.
Taxis and shuttle buses to and from the city centre are readily available.

Travel by train/bus

From Waverley station, take the No. 1 or No.34 bus, get off the bus at Port Hamilton bus stop in Fountainbridge Road, go straight ahead and then take the second right turn into Grove Street, you will see the hotel immediately on the left.

From Haymarket station, facing the clock tower, take the second exit from the right onto Morrison Street. Then go straight on, past a set of traffic lights, and the next right hand turn is Grove Street. There is a carpet shop on the corner. Carry on straight to the end of Grove Street, the hotel is on your right hand side.

Travel by car
From A8 and M9 (The West):
Follow the signs for city centre until Haymarket Station.Go through the lights onto West Maitland Street (the second exit from left) and bear right at the lights (direction Carlisle / A702). This is Torphichen Street leading to Dewar Place. At the next lights, get into the middle lane and go across Morrison Street into Gardeners Crescent (N.B. do not move on the filter at these lights). Follow the crescent to a roundabout and turn right. Grove Street is next right.

From Forth Road Bridge:
Follow A90 (Queensferry Road) to Barnton junction. Stay on A90 towards city centre, taking right hand fork at Kwik-Fit Garage (Queensferry Road again). At traffic lights, bear right, staying on Queensferry Road. Turn right at roundabout onto Queensferry Terrace. Go straight on at the next roundabout into Belford Road. Follow this road round past the Hilton Hotel beyond which the road swings right (Douglas Gardens/Palmerston Place). Go straight along Palmerston Place through one set of lights. At the next lights (West Maitland Street) go straight over into Torpichen Street continuing to Dewar Place. From here please follow directions as 'From A8 and M9 (The West)'.

From A702 (The South):
Follow Comiston Road into Morningside Road and eventually Bruntsfield Place. Approaching Tollcross, watch out for the Kings Theatre on the right. Proceed through the lights and turn second left into Thornybauk. Follow this road round until you reach the lights at the ' T ' junction ( L'Amore D' Italia restaurant). Turn left onto Fountainbridge Road. Go straight on at the roundabout. Grove Street is now first right.

Travel from/to Edinburgh Airport

Take the No. 100 Airport Express bus, get off the bus at Haymarket station, then follow the directions shown in the Travel by train/bus on the left.

Alternatively, take the No. 35 bus, get off the bus at Grove Street bus stop. Grove Street is about 20 yards away and the hotel is on the left.
