Liked: Proprietor, Mario, very helpful and obliging. 15 min uphill walk to San Marino Centre and easy access to public transport. Limited free parking available onsite, service elevator and air conditioned room.

Disliked: Fridge did not work in our room, but Mario put our items in the restaurants fridge. Room a bit on the small side. Breakfast adequate.

Liked: Actually it is not o hostel, it is a hotel. A very nice place. The view from the room was perfect. I would not search for any hostel and stay there again without hesitation.

Liked: The staff were excellent. Made us feel really welcome, looked after us and treated us like one of their regulars. The restaurant was top class and they never pushed us out(even at 1am!). Would definately go there again if Wales play in San Marino in the future!

Liked: Good service, even though didnt have twin beds offered us two rooms instead. Good evening meal menu available and good breakfast. Convenient for San Marino Town with fantastic views although on main road. Very friendly staff.

Liked: We enjoyed our stay and our host came to collect us at the bus station at San Marino. The restaurant has a good atmosphere with part being situated under a large pine tree. The host suggested that we tried the seafood as it was the only seafood restaurant in San Marino and it was one of their specialalities. We had a great selection of fish dishes and the service was really great.I did read that one person found difficulties finding the hostel. The secret is to catch the bus across from Rimmini station as they run every hour. The drivers are not very helpful but when you nearly reach the top of San marino city about 1kilometer from the summit you will approach a short dual carriageway with a line of fir trees through the middle. Just on the right before the divided road you will spot a large fir tree and that is hostel Silvana.

Liked: Free drink in the evening in the bar. The offer a bedroom each at no additional cost, as they had spare space. The restaurant attached was very good.

Liked: Legends!!! The hotel is very small (8 rooms) but all are clean and have en-suites. I was there for the San Marino vs Rep of Ireland international football match and the hotel was perfect for our needs. The restaurant (Piccolos) is cheap yet exceptionally good food - the San Marino team came to eat in the restaurant after the game - obviously it is highly thought of by the locals. I ate a carbonara and drank 3 massive beers for 20 euros!!! The guys who work there are legends - Mario (the owner) and Marco. We missed our taxi to the game so they offered to drive us there instead - the only fee was to buy the driver (Marco) a beer after the game!!! When we returned from the game they were in the process of preparing pizzas for us - outstanding service. Probably the best hotel i have ever stayed at simply becuase nothing was too much. Only issue was actually finding the place - luckily a local whom we asked offered us a free lift. I love San Marino!!!
