Odorheiu Secuiesc municipality is situated at the foot of the Harghita Mountains, among hills covered by forests, at the bank of the Tarnava Mare River, in a height of 477 m above sea-level. It is the cultural and historic centre of the Szekely land. The town is a much frequented, due to the architectural monuments, churches and schools.
