Liked: The building has been well maintained and preserved, the old decor is quite nice minus the seventies style bathrooms, and the very lumpy and squeaky beds. The air conditioning was a bonus, and it was very close to an inexpensive grocery store.

Liked: Very helpful and flexible staff. We booked the wrong room by mistake but the staff immediately solved that little problem. We were always welcomed with a smile! The hotel itself is an old mansion which still breathes the air of old town Porto, the rooms were somewhat old fashioned but provided everything (tv, bathtub and shower, toilet) in a spotless state. Recommened hotel!

Liked: We got our money's worth. It's quiet and the breakfast was good. But if you are looking for fun and to meet people this place is not for you. The location is a bit off the center, but you get what you pay for. There was a t.v. in the room but no internet access. Overall the stay was pleasant and we would recommend it for those looking for a private room.

Liked: Situated next to a pleasant square.A short walk to the train station where you can get a train to the airport.There are some good resturaunts surounding the hotel with menus to accomadate all budgets.There is also a supermarket.The staff are very pleasant and room bookings come with a good quality continental breakfast.

Liked: that's not a hostel - that's a "hilton" - we were quite lucky: booked a double bed room for 36 € and got the best suite for over € 160 ;-))) really fine interior and luxorious atmosphere there ... the receptionist was so nice and helpful, best breakfast ever ;-) we really enjoyed our stay there and did not felt like backpackers

Liked: We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and would definitely recommend it to everybody. Staff was great, very nice, helpful, room was spacious, very clean, lovely breakfast included in the price. Hotel is situated 10 min walk to the city centre in quiet area.

Liked: The breafast was great...the room had a rate of 150€ a night but we only paid 37€ and it was the best hostel/hotel I have stayed in in Europe

Liked: The friendlyness and helpfulness was incredible! Great! Sweet rooms, you can`t get better value for money! A sharming over hundred year-old house with servants who can give you the best advices for good restaurants. The customer is king
