Liked: very friendly and helpful staff. Location was a distance from Funchal but the island is small enough that you can easily drive between locations. It is also handy for getting to the other parts of the island. Good restaurants near by which although may not be all that much to look at, do serve great food! They also provided us with a fridge which helped to keep the cost down.

Disliked: absolutely nothing. Recommend this for anyone.

Liked: It is a real hotel with breakfast and every day room cleaning, not really a hostel. The staff was really helpful and flexible. Breakfast, although the same every day was good and sufficient. The hotel is really close to the natural swimming pool.

Disliked: There are 2 types of sea views: full sea view and Corner Sea / Mountain View. Consider taking pure Mountain View - it is cheaper.

Liked: Big rooms, spacious. Very variety breakfast menu - deliscious :). Quietness and peaceful place. Very friendly and helpull staff. They even provide additional facilities to comfort my 2years old son :) which was great suprise for me. this is a perfect place if you want just be relax and do nothing.

Disliked: It is not too much to see around the hotel for longer stay. so you need a car.

Liked: It's more like a hotel, where they clean your room and where you get every day new towels. The staff was very friendly and helpfull

Disliked: It was far away from the capital Funchal and the busconnections are not very good.

Liked: Obviously, as it is a hotel, it does not have the "charm" of a hostel. That having said, it is a very nice place to stay. Great location. Big room. Good value for money. Free parking.

Liked: Nice hotel located in a very small town. All the comfort you ned. Most of the staff was friendly, save for one person who seemed to dislike their job.Good selection of channels on the TV (seems stupid, but if you spend a few days in Porto Moniz, it IS nice to have a way to entertain yourself in the evening as the city is tiny.)Breakfast ok but nothing special.The city/region is nice and picturesque, very quiet.

Liked: Beautiful chilled quiet location and wonderful rooms - ours had a balcony and a seaview. The hotel also had great facilities (great breakfast, pool. jacuzzi and sauna and a late bar) and extremely friendly staff.

Liked: The Euro Moniz is in the center of Porto Moniz, a small town in Madeira. The location is great, and the landscape around there is fabulous. To go around I recommend you rent a car, otherwise you will depend on the bus services and their timetables. The breakfast was the best in Madeira.
