From Faro Airport - A22 Motorway.
Exit the airport onto the main road alongside the airport roundabout (with statues looking to the sky), follow the signs for Faro and A22. Continue along this road for approx. 2,5km.Take the second exit on the right, signposted A22 Lisbon and Portimão. This slip road will bring you onto a busy dual carriageway.Keep following this, after a few minutes get into the left lane to take the IP1 signposted Espanha-Lisboa. After approx. 1,5km take the slip road signposted Portimão. DO NOT take the turning before signposted Espanha. A22 Motorway -> Lagos. You are now on the motorway A22. Continue Westwards on the A22 for approx. 60 kms – leave at junction 2 – Lagos Este and Odiaxere. At the roundabout take the first exit (right) to Lagos. As you approach Lagos you will see the football stadium on your right, over a small bridge to the next roundabout (police station on right) take 3rd exit. At the next roundabout (Boat fountain) take the 3rd exit. You will pass the Petrol Station on your right hand side. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight across) head along the main Avenida (Avenida dos Descobrimentos). This is where you should park your car. On the right hand side of the Avenida you will find the Taxi rank. Located behind the taxi rank, between some shops and a Pizza restaurant, you will find a small flight of steps. The Hotel Lagosmar is located at the top of these steps on the left hand side.
