Liked: It is a comfortable and well decorated hotel in a beautiful building, much better than most hotels in its price range. I would definitely recommend this place.

Disliked: Our only problem was that on the Friday night there was a lot of noise from the bars nearby. Saturday night was much quieter.

Liked: The man at the reception is very friendly. The Residencial has a nice atmosphere and is near to the center of Evora. We like it.

Disliked: The stairs to the hostel are very strong with big bags.

Liked: Interesting - and probably typical - Portuguese house. Good location

Disliked: Difficult to find No parking Room dimly lit, and No air conditioning Bath room primitive - bidet in shower! No debit/credit card facility in operation - think it had broken down!

Liked: Great location

Disliked: In the first day they reallocated us to another hostel, because of overbooking,that was really bad!!!!!! They just sent us... they didnt care. We had to carry everything to the other stay and carry the thing again to Os Manueis in the next day. And they did not care... This substitute hostel was really bad. Didnt have minimum conditions. Os manueis doesnt have elevator and has a big row of stairs... The staff is not so friendly We had a problem and had to come back sooner than we thought and they said that they had to charge us everything. They said that if they sell the room in between they would refund us but untill today (one month later) they didnt say a word to us. I dont want to remember my stay there and wouldnt recomend to anyone. It doenst have a park for your car either.

Liked: Stayed here for 1 night as a stopover. 5 minutes walk from bus/train station. Really nice rooms and great value.

Liked: This is a very simple hostel but located in the heart of the city. There was a bug in the bathroom! Generaly hostel is very clean. Breakfest was very simple. For the money you pay there you can find another place to stay more confortable and located not in the old building. Staff does not speak english.

Liked: The doors are a bit noisy. Maybe in the local Ako you can buy some stickers which you can paste on the inner side of the door (of all rooms) so at night one won't be disturbed by noisy doors slammed while opening and closing... Also, a good new investment would be fixed steady high-quality (Daikin) air-conditioning instead of the mobile machinery now present... For the price, a breakfast could maybe be included... Keep up the good work!

Liked: Nice, clean property. Beautifully decorated, though our room was a little small for the price. All the basics were present in the room, TV, decent shower, resonable comfortable bed, though no wireless, which I was quite surprised at. Alsok, we couldn't pay by credit crd which seems to be an annoying trend in Portugal.
