Liked: FAB HOLIDAY! This is a fantastic 2 star hotel.Some people just like to hear themselves moan.The firsts impressions were this is a simple,comfy,clean and with an extraordinary view hotel! It has excellent localization,friendly helpful staff,spacious rooms and bathrooms, and excelent wireless internet on the reception area and bar(free). We will return for sure!Good value for the Money!

Liked: Staying in Hotel da Galé was incredibly good!we stayed just one night but it was great. We loved the magnificient view from the terrace where we take breakfast, a really complete continental breakfast with everything..from juices to fresh fruits, and a lot of different kinds of bread, we were positively surprised! The Staff was extremely nice.The recepcionist was very very helpfull. We will return without a doubt. And we recomend it for all people that want a low cost hotel with high quality.The value for money is pretty amazing.we recommend it.

Disliked: The pool area is a little bit small.

Liked: The reception was very nice and helpful.

Disliked: There was no running water anywhere in the building when we arrived. The whole room and bathroom was extremely dirty, actually the worst I´ve seen. The pillowcases and sheets smelt so bad that we slept with our towels we had brought with us. The breakfast was just a joke, just a white breadbun and some kind of sweet fizzy drink, no juice or even water. Their swimming pool looked like it hadn´t been cleaned for weeks (or longer), the water was so dirty you couldn´t even see to the botton at the most shallow part. We booked a room with a "garden view", we were facing the parking lot.

Liked: We have been transfered to hotel Regina, because hotel Da Gale had a refurbishing work going on. Hotel Regina - good that it had kitchenette, iron, hair dryer, air conditioning (if not stopped by the staff), the staff was Ok, in the center of Albuferia and still quiet enough location, small pool on the top - nothing special but can be used

Disliked: Hotel Regina - old property, the air conditioning was centrally switched off during the nights, probably for saving electricity. Internet access is only possible at the bar close to the reception, but is better than nothing, some broken elements at the toilet. If you want a cheap place to stay and are not so pretentious it is good for you.

Disliked: Please see point 2. I have also been charged for one night before arriving to the hotel. I thought that this was the idea of the "deposit" - I pay 10% and if I do not arrive the money is lost. In this case hotel decided to charge me both for deposit and one night.

Disliked: =There was no wardrobe to put your clothes. The rooms are also dark if they dont look the seaside. -The staff never helped me to print my boarding pass when the printer at the communal computer was not working and they were not ready to replace the cartride

Liked: The room was quite big, with a TV. The view is very beautiful.

Disliked: The breakfast is too simple and has a bad quality. One of the reception guy didn't speak Portuguese. The staff were friendly but not helpful.

Liked: the view across the bay of albufeira is amazing

Disliked: rooms were not cleaned at all. the staff was rather unfriendly and didn't seem competent.

Liked: Had my own bathroom which was big. Also, had a balcony. The view from the roof as I ate breakfast was amazing. Free wifi in the lobby and bar.

Disliked: Hotel room felt a little unclean. Sheets had rust stains and floor seemed dirty.

Liked: Terrace with great panorama

Disliked: Old bad maintained rooms, smelled very bad and were not renovated since the 80s, unfriendly staff at the breakfast, rest of the staff was friendly but highly inexperienced.

Liked: The best way to describe this hotel is: best value for this price. We stayed in this hotel at the beginning of October and the price was very low. We also had breakfast included and the best view in town. The hotel is situated on top of a hill and you have a panoramic view over the ocean and all Albufeira. The rooms were very clean and not to far from the city center and the beach. We enjoyed very much our staying at the hotel and we would definetely recommended it.

Liked: Friendly staff but we have to move to another room because of a the humedity. Very good location and view from the bar at breakfast.

Liked: This hostel is not located in the very centre of Albufeira but is only a 5 min walk away. Rooms feature AC and large WCs. The breakfast is very basic. Pool and terrace is nice to relax at after a day at the beach (even though not always clean).
