Liked: The hotel is in a nice old colonial building, with some large communal spaces. We stayed over a long weekend so the street was very quiet, compared to local streets the one home to Casa seemed to have a few less hustlers and street kids. Free Wifi but only in the communal areas, not in rooms. Buy one coffee and the cup becomes bottomless.

Disliked: The price seems to be grossly inflated for what you get. we only stayed here as my Mother was joining us and wanted to stay somewhere a little more comfortable. this place is defiantly not a budget option, Backpackers beware...

Liked: safety is a concern for those not familiar with Manila. This placewas off the street with a guard at the drive. Everything was great and you can walk to shopping and night life. Quick ride to airport also.

Disliked: Everything was to satisfaction.

Liked: Central location close to Malate and Manila Bay. Staff was helpful.

Disliked: We had to change rooms a few times. Water heater broken in the first room, shower handle in the second.

Liked: Located close to Roxas blvd, Intramuros and shopping malls. But surrounding streets are full of homeless beggars and does not feel very safe. It's not as "luxury, charming, cozy and serene" as they describe themselves. Just clean, and good located and inexpensive hotel.

Liked: There were no clocks or phones in the room. Time is very important to travelors. Wished they could put alarm clocks in the rooms. Everything else is perfect. The staff is very friendly and kind. Great place.
