Liked: Excellent place to stay hence my 2nd stay! Room was clean and spacious with a nice view of Manila skyline. Food in bar area was good and a band was playing so a really nice atmosphere.Advice to 1st time travellers arriving at Manila airport use Southern Cross Hotel pick up service. (the taxi drivers and porters will scam you out of big money).

Disliked: Its always my hotel of choice i can not fault it for what it is.

Liked: It was reasonable value for money concidering it was right in the heart of the city. Rooms were clean although basic. Food was very good and cheap as were the drinks. Staff very helpful, particully the lovely January. I will recommed the hotel to my friends as a place to stay.

Liked: The owner is there to talk with customers, and explain how things work. The hotel is targetted at budget conscious Australians and other expats, and hence it provides good value for money. The food is reasonable, and prices at the bar are competitive. The location is ideal for my purpose, which was easy access to the airport.
