Liked: Not bad for what it is, but stingy, stingy people. 30 peso for 10 minutes on the computer? 650 peso (advertised as about 500 peso, but crept up) for taxi service from the airport? For the basic room price and location it's OK.
Disliked: Stinginess, mostly.

Liked: Rooms were good sized and clean, staff were not very helpful for tourist information or giving directions to local places. ie eating or tourist attractions. No maps available at all, very hard to get around if you are a tourist. You must find a book store to buy a map book to get a sense of direction.

Liked: There was a very friendly atmosphere at this hotel. The reception staff were particularly helpful and friendly. This is the second time I have stayed at the St Illian's Inn and I will book again at this hotel next time I visit Manila
