Liked: Good cable TV and refridgerator and hot water, room cleaned regularly, good value for the price (on Boracay anyways!). Quiter than white beach.
Disliked: If you stay here bring a mosquito net. The roof is a traditional thatched roof, meaning no way to keep the mozzies out. There are places to hang nets above the bed. Also leaks when it rains in seven places, but luckily the second bedroom was waterproof! Probably a good place if kitesurfing, but otherwise the beach its on is NOT for sunbathing or swimming, as it says on website. Stayed 8 nights and never saw anyone laying out, and only a few locals swimming. The swimming/pary beach is definitely white beach. Can be a bit dark if walking to white beach at night, but you coudl always take a tricyle.

Liked: Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Food was good. They have everything a budget traveler needs and it's right on Bulabog beach. This beach is quieter and short walk to the crazy areas and everything you need. Internet works fine. Tv, cable, bathroom and everything was exactly what was expected.
Disliked: That close to the beach has a fair amount of bugs, as nice as it is to have the french doors open it allows the bugs to get in. One of the days a boat stunk the air of gas. Neither can be controlled by Surfers Home.

Liked: it's very quiet and peaceful. good for those who wants to be away from the busy white beach. friendly staff. very clean and cosy.

Liked: situated right on the beach, nice & quiet, clean, love the furniture & hamocks :) staff very helpful to call tricycle into D.mall for us
