LAGO DE ORO is situated 115 kms. South West of Manila on the shore of the South China Sea and on Zobel Highway just over (2 1/2) two and a half hours drive (subject to traffic conditions). There are two alternative routes to Batangas: via South Superhighway through the Sta. Rosa Exit or via the Coastal Road, then on to scenic Tagaytay. From Tagaytay, drive down towards Tuy and proceed to Balayan Town proper then turn right going to Calatagan; Or from Tagaytay, drive down towards the Sugar Central junction in Nasugbu, proceed through the town of Lian, continue to Calatagan until you reach Lago de Oro.
