Liked: Location central, free WiFi, free luggage storage, free breakfast. The 2-day-tour to the Islands booked in the hostel was fine.

Disliked: Could not open window for ventilation, but it didn't matter.

Liked: Its location is just blocks from the Plaza De Armas as well as a pedestrian only street which has numerous shops, restaurants, bank machines, and tour companies. The staff were super friendly and pretty much bent over backwards to make sure our stay was good.

Liked: You could do much better for your money although ok. Pretty noisy with traffic and most rooms have no outside window so pretty dark and dingy. Hot water not always available but staff pretty friendly, although they failed to pick us up from the bus station. Be careful with the nearest supermarket, they are thieves!

Liked: Wonderful hosts, kindest people I´ve met in Peru. Great value for money, good breakfast, free coca tea etc. Not great for meeting fellow travellers but a brilliant one-night stop on the way to Cusco or Bolivia.

Liked: This hostel was just 5 minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas and less to Lima Street, the main thoroughfare. Olivia, Jessica and especially Margarita were very helpful and friendly the whole time too and couldn´t do enough for us, The room was fine with hot shower and cable TV and there was internet access too. Breakfast was good, including eggs. Recommended.

Liked: This was fine for just 2 nights, although we didn´t really have any hot water either nights even though it was advertised. Great location though for the square and the main street. I would recommend ear plugs if you´re a light sleeper. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and was basic, although the second day we were offered eggs which was nice.

Liked: The room was immaculate, and the hotel was in a good location in Puno. Best of all, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was cold, and we were given an extra heating unit at no extra cost - another couple we met who were staying at a different hotel were charged extra for the heater. The staff were eager to please - helped us out with tours, logistics of the city, etc. They immediately accomodated every request that we had - like finding CNN on the TV, One evening we sat in the lounge talking to the staff and their friends. We could not have been more pleased.

Liked: it was a quick and easy place to stop on the way through Puno to get to La Paz.. good value for money and hot shower!!
