Liked: In the whole visit to Peru, this is the best hotel that we have been, very comfortable and warm rooms with heating, nice view toward the lake Titicaca, the hot water is very good, the bathroom is very wide and clean, the room is beautiful.Just we got there the staff was friendly and helpful with us; the breakfast had a lot of delicious things. It is just 4 minutes waking to get the main street, this hotel is the BEST, I recommend it to you.

Liked: The hotel is on a safe place that is close to the Plaza de Armas, near restaurants, cash dispenser and sites. I would not recommend staying closer on the Plaza due to the noise and traffic. You can walk out of this hotel without getting accosted by street vendors. The room was clean and the staff was helpful, the internet was free. The breakfast was good as well (fresh eggs cooked, a selection of breads, cereal, coffee, tea,jam and fruit). The shower was hot and the water pressure was excellent.

Liked: Everything was perfect, we spent two nights at MARIA ANGOLA hotel. absolutely wonderful decoration, fantastic king size bed, cable tv and good bathroom with plenty hot water. Extremely delicious breakfast with a wide choice of meals including several sorts of tea. No pool but for the rest it is the best place to stay if you need to hide from city noise and dive into authentic environment with maximal level of comfort. Authentic design, cozy rooms and all the facilities you may need, Best hotel.

Liked: Goodish breakfast. Younger staff were nice. Interesting carved dark wood everywhere that got a bit oppressive after a while

Disliked: Close to Plaza de Armas but down unpleasant little streets. Dogs barked all night outside the hostel. Very heavily locked doors and all windows and balconies barred. Unnerving and potentially dangerous if there is a fire

Liked: This hotel was our favorite place that we stayed while on vacation in Peru. We stayed there twice and each time we had a great experience. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, and had heaters. The hotel is centrally located a short walk from the Plaza de Armas. There were lots of cute shop and good restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Puno. We loved it!

Liked: It is a very nice hotel. Everything was clean, and very well organized. The staff is wonderful. Everybody in the hotel is friendly, particularly Omar. They are really committed to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As soon as you arrive, they start taking care of you. One more thing, breakfast is really good and it is included! We have pied with credit card and all was correct, they give me a discount, Great hotel!

Liked: This was a great retreat from the bustling city. Plenty of internet access, good restaurant and clean and roomy rooms. It felt very safe secure there and we received good service from the staff who were very professional and spoke great English. It was comfortable and homely which was greatly appreciated after venturing around the streets outside.
