Liked: It's location to many items in the travellers handbook I had with me.

Disliked: Could have been better placed for restaurants other than that provided by the hotel itself, or, it could have provided better food in its own restaurant.

Liked: Staff were helpful. Only reason we stayed here was to join up with a tour group.

Liked: The location is good, in a nice square, next the the ocean. However it is necessary to take a taxi to the main places to visit.There is hot water however the shower is not the best in the world, if you understand what I am saying. It is a hotel and not a hostel. Therefore, is is not a fun place to meet people. However, it is a good choice to stay with the family. The staff is nice and helped us with the city tour and with the taxi to the airport.

Liked: Location is very good. Staff are helpful, in Lima standard. Hot Water was not warm enough, and our room smelt smoke.

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay at El Faro. It was a very safe and quiet place to stay in a nice neighbourhood. Close to parks and approx 10 minute walk or 5 sole in a taxi to the main strip in Miraflores. Staff were reserved, but happy to help with any questions you may have. Rooms were very clean. The property is very well maintained with a lovely roof top bar. If in Miraflores again we would definately stay at El Faro.
