The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! They made the hotel a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day. They went out of their way!
Overview
The Asunción Palace Hotel is placed in the very historic centre of the city, which is also the financial district the main commercial area and a growing entertainment zone, at 30 minutes from the International Airport and at 20 minutes from the Bus Station of Asuncion.
This building, inaugurated in 1858, was the residence of Col. Venancio Lopez, member of the first ruling family of Paraguay.
The Hotel is in the same neighbourhood of the main banks, the Government ministries, the National Congress, the Presidential Palace, the city port, the art & crafts shops and at short distance from the soccer stadium Defensores del Chaco and the Judiciary see.
