Liked: I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Although Oslo overall is a very, very expensive city for visitors from outside Scandinavia, hotel Anker is great value for money. The breakfast buffet was also extensive and a MAJORITY of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Took us quite a while to find.

Liked: Excellent beds! Nice and cosy bedroom. Nice bathroom with heated floors (awesome!). All the services can be interactively manged by the TV set in the room. Delicious and complete breakfast!

Liked: It is in a great location to the central station. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was delicious! I woul definately stay here again!!

Liked: To be honest, it's probably not the cheepest location in Oslo but you really get something for your money. The breakfast is really good and it will kepp you going and goind and going ... . Also the trendy Grönerlökka city disrict with a lot of bars, pups etc. in just in walking distance. The rooms were really clean and gave a warm atmosphere. I really recommend it.

Liked: big room. good location. fair price (good value for price)! Good mix between not paying too much and still having more privacy and comfort than in a normal hostel/backpacker.

Disliked: extremely small bathroom! Several defect items in the room. Obviously (for the cheap price) you don't get the the perfect service / interior of a "proper" hotel.

Liked: clean quiet and refurbished really well.

Disliked: no tea and coffee in room, didnt like having to pay for it in foyer. room was a bit warm and didnt know how to cool it down

Liked: The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly, able to answer any question. Maps of the area are available at the front desk and even though construction work was taking place there was little noise or mess about. The only issue was with the room keys, we had to change ours four times over three days. Great selection at the breakfast buffet.
