Liked: Very friendly Host, Nice breakfast and breakfast room. Our room had also a Tv, basin and was small but cosy.

Disliked: The Hostel Itself is Good value. Parking Space is rare and expensive.

Liked: the staff was very helpful. the rooms were nice and modest. The free breakfast every morning was the icing on the cake.

Disliked: in winter the corridor was a little bit cold.

Liked: Absolutely fantastic stay, amazing free coffee, great breakfast, great and helpful staff, comfy breakfast room with free printer and two pc's. You can smoke in their lovely garden, and it's on such a quiet street you'll get the perfect nights sleep. Well worth it over any hostel.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Very nice surrounding, central but quiet place. Possibility to rent bikes for a really good price (better than other providers).

Liked: Location great with bikes we could get anywhere! Good breakfast and helpful staff..

Disliked: Not the most sociable hostel in the world, also wound up with one of the smaller not so clean rooms but it was fine...

Liked: bit far away from the city proper but at the same time very accessible to travellers. i also like the free internet offer. very quiet place.

Disliked: cramped room space. should have been daily cleaning of rooms,if any. limited choices of breakfast.

Liked: The suite we had was amazing. More than we have expected. The room was extremely clean. We had privacy. Staff was easy going.

Disliked: Wish we had a better map.

Liked: A quirky hostel/hotel, in a residential district, about 20-30 minutes walk to the centre, staff were friendly and well informed about Amsterdam and places to go, clean room for a decent nights sleep, lovely breakfast and free internet and printer access a real bonus especially for booking forward rail pass trains and tickets for local attractions. It was great value for money.

Disliked: There was nothing more I would have asked for, at the price, it offered good value and was a pleasant environment to base ourselves in.

Disliked: bad value for money even for a bigger city I think though not completely familiar with Amsterdam prices. tiny room, tiny shared toilet and shower, rather average breakfast

Liked: It was great that we could rent bikes at the hotel.

Disliked: When we checked in the linnen wasen´t changed bt covered with long black hair. We told this to the receptoinist that came to check and brought the housekeeper. Thel linnen was changed but first after a little hassle where the housekeeper insisted on that he already had changed the bed. Of course mistakes happen. It would just have been a better experience if we didn´t have to argue with the housekeeper. No wifi in the rooms.

Disliked: The cleanliness of the bathroom. The toilet wasn´t cleaned for two days.

Liked: Bicycle Hotel is wonderful! We booked at the very last minute due to hating our original accommodation in Amsterdam. Bicycle Hotel were very accommodating and the room we stayed in was wonderful, private, clean and with a great view of the street. The breakfast is amazing, a full European spread of cheeses, meats, traditional Dutch breakfast bread and tea and coffee. After such a bad start to our trip with our dodgy first hostel, Bicycle Hotel really saved the day! I am going to recommend this place to anyone going to Amsterdam and will be back myself!

Liked: Breakfast was GREAT. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Location wasn't perfect, but well conected to the centre by tram and night bus (20 minutes). The stairs are very steep, but it seems that's the way they are in Amsterdam.

Liked: The wifi connection in the room was good. Breakfast was included, and very nice.

Disliked: We had a private twin room which felt a bit squeezy because there was about only 50cm walking space between the two beds. The spiral stairs were really scary because each flight had many steps and each step was not deep enough to fit the whole foot and we were almost getting giddy walking on them.

Liked: Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, located on a quiet street, easy to find, the bicycles we rent were in very good condition (totally worth the money), nice breakfast, hot water all the time. A good low-budget choice overall.

Disliked: Pretty far away from the historical centre of the city, thought it was closer (about 20 minutes by bicycle, over an hour by foot). Didn't check where De Pijp District is on the map though, before booking. Double private room was just enough for two persons and their stuff (would like a little more space). Finally the stairs, were narrow and steep, wouldn't recommend this for elder people or people with disabilities.

Liked: The location was great. The fact they hire bikes to you and do not state a return by time is really useful. We hired bikes from 10am - 10pm.

Liked: Bicylcle hotel had character. Friendly staff made us feel like arriving back home. Also great location for those (like myself) who don't care too much for the hassle in central amsterdam. Close enough for everything even if not located in the buzz of it. A big + for having computer for customer use. Not just the wifi.

Disliked: Does have quite steep stairs, but isn't alone with that fault in amsterdam.
