Liked: it was so clean in comparison to some of the other hostels in Amsterdam. the staff were really nice and friendly, and it was excellent value for money. the area that the hostel in on is also very nice with lots of things to do like the market shops and heiken brewery

Liked: The hostel was not bad to stay at. Breakfast was great! The best part was renting the bicycles. If you are planning to bike in Amsterdam, this is a good place to stay at because of the convenience, you don´t have to drop off your bike somewhere and walk back to your hostel. We were able to bike home! Although make sure you wake up early to rent the bikes, they run out fast, especially on the weekends. Not the greatest location, but if you have a bike, you can get anywhere within 5-10 minutes. The washrooms are shared for each floor. Bring flip flops for the showers. There is no elevator and the steps are extra steep, you just have to be careful.

Liked: Unusually good features: on-site bicycle rental, free internet access [and more than one computer station for same], excellent breakfast, fluent English-speaking staff, quieter neighborhood yet accessible

Liked: Good breakfast, free Wifi, pleasant lounge. The room has not been cleaned sometimes, and we didnt get a bike becouse a larger group wanted more bikes. We got a big bed rather than 2 separate ones the first night, the stairs are awkwardly steep and got sent to the 4th floor.. quite a climb!
