Liked: The location is awesome, really near the central station and all main attractions.

Disliked: The room is very dirty, there are no functional Internet access and the overall atmosphere is not friendly.

Liked: The room was nice. The location, very near to central station, very convenient.

Disliked: Very noisy. You can everything happening outside as if you were there... even with all windows closed...

Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: The room was incredibly small. The toilet was as well really small and not confortable at all. Opening the window we had the nice view of a wall, we really didn't like it .

Liked: This hostel was in a great location, just 10min walk to dam square and 3min walk from central station. The room was perfect, clean bed linen and clean shower/bathroom. Great value for money

Liked: Location, nice ok stuff, free internet (not available everywhere tho)

Disliked: the atmosphere was depressing, the price does not correspond with place's quality, you have to pay for tv (and it's in a place when only half of the people from the room can watch it), the doors to the toilet in the room was a disaster

Liked: The location is terrific, about 150m from the Amsterdam Central Station and about 5-minute walking from DAM Square.

Disliked: The phone in the bedroom doesn't make exterior calls.

Liked: Nothing, It was horrendous. It was the worst place I've ever stayed.

Disliked: Our hotel room was disgraceful. I would not reccommend this place to anyone. The room was on the fourth floor at the front of the building. It was basically the corner of the attic. The walls and floors were filthy, the window was broken and held together by sellotape. The lamps didn't work. The noise from outside was very loud all night long making it practically impossible to sleep. The last night was the worst night. We had a mouse in our room. The staff were very reluctant to do anything about it expecting us to remain sleeping there with a mouse actually running around ob the floor before our eyes. After three hours they eventually moved us to another room at three in the morning. When checking out the next day the staff didn't make any apologies about the mouse or condition of the room and refused to give us a refund for our last night. The man serving us was so rude and ignorant and didn't care less about our ordeal. We were livid with our stay in Season Star and will never return there.

Liked: The location is brilliant. The loft had character.

Disliked: They attempted to rip us off by increasing the price each night - a whopping E250 on a Monday night (not a holiday or special event). We hadn't noticed until we were going to extend our stay another 6 nights. As we'd already arrived and paid, we lost our "deposit" for that night (E25). They would not negotiate a new price for that night, even as part of a package to increase our stay by 6 nights. Attitude of staff was not helpful, especially in regard to regaining our money. They kept trying to put us off and pretended to not understand. If people were late chaecking out they were charged E10/hour yet we had to wait half an hour for "the lady" who said she was unable to help anyway.

Liked: Good location.

Disliked: I would have a liked a bathroom with an actual door, not saloon doors that you can pretty much see through. The staff was not friendly and kind of boring. No real amenities and we had a four person room and had us backed in like sardines. Not worth the money.

Liked: Location is great. Just near the central train station. I stayed in a room in the ground floor so I did not have to climb the stairs. 24h reception.

Disliked: There is no breakfast, 10€ for TV, there is no wardrobe, on one of the days the water in the shower was cold, no internet in the bedroom, a bit expensive for what it offers.

Liked: Really good location, felt safe, staff on desk all night. Reasonable room with ensuite. Really good if your wanting a place to sleep and not much else just dont expect luxury, suited us fine :)

Disliked: Smells very smoky. Also we got charged an extra 10 euro 'amsterdam tax' which wasnt cool.
