From Schiphol Airport:
Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM.

From Amsterdam Central Station:
You don't have to take the tram, you can walk to the hotel in approximately 1 minute. Exit the central station from the main exit on the city side (follow the taxi sign). Turn right when you exit and follow the path to leave the station grounds. At the crossing light cross the street and walk straight into the street in front of you. This is ‘Martelaarsgracht’, on the corner is a little bar and just a little down the street you will find the hotel on your right.
