Hostel Continental City Centre

In the heart of its historical City Center lies Hotel Continental, a comfortable hotel located conveniently, only a 5 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station.

We are conveniently situated in the heart of Amsterdam’s historical city centre at a five minutes walking distance to the Central Station.

The location is an ideal starting point for exploring Amsterdam’s versatile attractions right on your doorstep:

The Dam Square, the Royal Palace, the Red Light District, and the 'Jordaan' area with numerous cafés, art galleries, local boutiques, hip clubs and trendy cocktails bars are only a few steps away.

You can visit Madame Tussauds, take beautiful photos of the 'Koninklijk Paleis', visit an exposition in the 'Nieuwe Kerk' or stroll in the shops of the Kalverstraat or Magna Plaza shopping center.

Please note that we have a minimum stay of 2 nights during the weekends.

Cancellations which are not made at least 48 hours in advance are subject to a one night charge.

Check in time is 14.00hrs but early check in, may be possible if the room is available.
Payment by credit card will bring a service charge of 5% extra on the total amount.
The reservation will be kept for 2 hours after the estimated arrival time. If you need to arrive later, please phone the hostel in advance. Otherwise, the accommodation can be resold.

Bookings made on the same day as arrival also subject to charge first night in case of cancellation.

Any changes in number of guests need to report by mail 48 hours prior to your arrival. otherwise full amount will be charged.

Approximately 7 days prior to arrival, we will try to get authorisation of your card for the costs of the first night. When authorisation cannot be obtained for the credit card, the room cannot be guaranteed. You will be contacted to provide further details.
Please note that authorization is only meant to guarantee the room(its not a charge). Upon arrival you may pay either in cash or with credit card.

Accommodation Information

Hotel Continental counts 33 rooms, all equipped with plasma television and telephone. You can choose between singles, doubles, twin, triples and quad rooms. Rooms are available with private or shared facilities.

The private room types available are: Twin, Triple, Quad, 6 Beds Basic/ Ensuite.
-Twin rooms come with one bunk bed for two.
-Quad rooms come with two bunk beds for 4 people.

Important info: Basic rooms comes with sink in the room and has shared facilities. Ensuite rooms come with shower and toilet in the room.
