Nice location, in the midlle of the city but not directly on a loud or big touristic street.

The city seems to thrive on its mix and, despite hordes of tourists, still manages to feel quintessentially Dutch. The old crooked houses, the cobbled streets, the tree-lined canals and the generous parks all contribute to the atmosphere.
Amsterdam peaks with people around Easter and July-August but both of these times have their pros. April to May sees daffodils and tulips come to life through the cracks in the crowds. The beautiful summers are a great time to grab a bite and a drink alongside a canal
Amsterdam is one of the coolest cities in Europe. Beautiful, hip, and laid back, with lots to do, lots to see, many pubs, food from all over the world and friendly people. A visit to this very beautiful city is sometimes like taking a walk in the 17th century, as the centre of Amsterdam has a lot of charming architecture dating from this period. This is an excellent city to tour on foot or bicycle. However, while Amsterdam may boast a lot of 17th century architecture, that's about all that's old fashioned about the place.

Location Information
The city of Amsterdam enjoys great fame for being the proud owner of one of the most important intact historical city centres in the world. The distinctive Amsterdam cityscape is dominated by canal houses, most of them built as residences for wealthy citizens. These rich mansions are characterised by narrow, relatively tall facades, crowned by richly ornamented gable tops. We are located right in the middle of the centre, surrounded by all these beautiful historical buildings
