Hotel Flipper is situated in a quiet, residential street in the Southern part of the centre of Amsterdam.

Amsterdam is a large city and a major tourist destination, so you can visit it all year round. However, in winter the days are short (8 hours daylight around Christmas), and the weather may be too cold to walk around the city comfortably, let alone cycle. Some things are seasonal: the bulb fields flower only in the spring and Queen's Day (Koninginnedag) is always on 30 April, unless that is a Sunday. Queen Beatrix was in fact born on 31 January, but since January is too cold, the celebrations are held on the birthday of her mother Juliana. The color of Queen's Day is orange, symbolizing national pride in the royal House of Orange-Nassau

Hotel Flipper is a cozy and friendly family hotel situated in a quiet, residential street in the Southern part of the centre of Amsterdam. Tram 4 brings you in 10 min. to the city centre and within 5 min. to the RAI congress centre.
Out of the noisy city centre but still reachable in 10 minutes by public transportation (24-hours). All major sights such as the museums, markets, Heineken Brewery, restaurants are within walking distance. The nightlife areas are all reachable within 10 minutes by public transport (24-hours). Public transportation to all directions is just 2 minutes away.
With the hotels friendly atmosphere, but most of all, because of the outstanding personal service, you will feel at home right away.

Paid public parking is at your disposal in front of the hotel (Sunday free parking). The ambiance, location and friendly prices of hotel Flipper will make your stay in Amsterdam a very pleasant one!

Make sure you have a valid credit card when making the booking for guarantee the reservation. Hotel Flipper will pre-authorize your credit card after receiving your reservation. You will be contacted by the hotel if the credit card is not valid. Please reply within 24-hours or the reservation may be cancelled and the deposit is not refundable
Public parking 09:00 until next day 09:00 for 24 hours EUR 18.00 and 09::00 - 19:00 for EUR 12.00. Night ticket 19:00 until next day 09:00 for EUR 8.00. Price per hour is EUR 2.00. Free parking on Sundays and holidays

Cancellation at least 6 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation 5 days prior to arrival 2 nights will be charged
Cancellation 4 days prior to arrival 3 nights will be charged
Cancellation 3 days prior to arrival or less the total amount will be charged
On arrival it is not possible to cancel and the whole amount must be paid.

No Show will be charged for the total amount

Accommodation Information

Hotel Flipper has basic rooms with shared facilities as well as rooms with private facilities.
Please note that the double rooms are small.

The hotel has the right to pre-authorize the credit card prior to the arrival date for guarantee the reservation. This means the amount of the authorization will be blocked on the credit card but not taken out of the credit card. After payment at the hotel the credit card company needs 5 working days to release the blocked amount.

Location Information

From Hotel Flipper you can easily reach the shopping streets and cafés and restaurants surrounding the hotel. At walking distance you will also find the RAI congress centre, Amstel Station, the Albert Cuijpmarket, Heineken Brewery and the famous De Pijp district.
The bustling city centre is only 10 minutes away by public transport, which runs 24 hours a day.
